Visiting here became an obsession. Glad we stayed around the block and could check in frequently. Plenty of animals, sea lions, pelicans, herons, iguanas all hanging round to peruse the fish catch. Bring your camera.

Sea lions, herons, pelicans and marine iguanas can be seen here, all simply living their lives amongst the humans! Most times of day there is something to be seen, but of course when the fishermen are selling their wares, there are more animals to be spotted.

don't expect to see a market, it is just one table fish are usually brought later in the evening. there are always 1 or 2 seals sleeping there. go to teh pier instead ( after 6pm) you will see way more sea lions , sharks and rays

It’s on every day and it’s free. As the fish are landed and being gutted ready for sale the market is alive with Pelicans, Seals, Frigate Birds, Herons and iguanas. It really is a site to behold and best time to go is 10am in the morning.

Stop and watch the resident seal and all the pelicans trying their best to get some fish from the daily catch as the fish are being cleaned.A must for photo lovers of birds as you wont get this close to a pelican anywhere else Also the frigates fly really low overhead You can also purchase a fresh lobster and take to restaurant across the road who will prepare and cook for your evening meal Enjoy the pelicans the seal and the lobster
