We just returned from a 2 night stay at Resorts Casino. I was a little skeptical when my husband suggested it but was happily surprised! We have been to AC many times and have stayed in quite a few of the resorts from the Tropicana to the now defunct Revel and I would have to say that this was one of the best stays. We stayed in the Rendezvous Tower on the 45th floor. The room was one of the largest rooms that we have ever had at a resort in AC and very clean. The king size bed was extremely comfortable. The bathroom was huge and beautiful! From the moment that we arrive until we were strolling towards the self parking garage we noticed how nice and friendly the staff were. Everyone said Hello and we ready to help point you in the right direction. The food as well as the staff at Breadsticks deserve to be praised. The only negative was that it was more than just a little smokey as you would walk about the Casino. Overall ~ a Great Stay!

We haven't been here in awhile. We mostly went to the Revel but that closed up. So we thought we would try the Resorts again.
It was nice, clearly an older hotel that they are trying to modernize. We did have to let the main desk know that the safe was broken and there was no hair dryer in the room. The windows are so clouded over that you can not see out of them. The staff was friendly and attentive. Not many restaurant choice if you go early in the week (we were there on a Wednesday night), unless you like quick bites or the café.
Also, for a city that is trying to get more customers, there is a fee for WiFi. Most hotels we go to the WiFi is free.

Arrived at 2AM, off the bus on a spontaneous trip. I was greeted promptly and friendly. The room was great. Got a deal for 37.50 for the night. Two nights where 104.00. Room service came quicker for morning breakfast, then afternoon Beers. Why? Cant answer that. In the Casino, Very slow, and extremely BORING. Dealers are less then for fulled with their jobs. Was fortunate to spin a membership wheel and receive 100 in slot credit. While playing made it into REAL cash. Just to give it back. All in all, room was very nice.

Spent a snowy two-days-after-Valentine's-Day-weekend in wonderful Atlantic City! Resorts was great! Recently refurbished with the addition of Margaritaville-themed bars and restaurants and shops. I believe there's also a beach bar that's open in the summer. Overall, very nicely done! My new favorite casino now that Showboat is gone! Also, New Jersey folks really know how to deal with snow! We watched snow plows and dozers clear roads and parking lots from our fifth floor corner room. And won a little money, too! It's all good in Atlantic City! DO AC!

My husband and I were given this trip by our daughter for Christmas. We have been to Atlantic City many times and stayed at many of the hotels. This was our first time at Resorts. Our daughter bought this trip as a Groupon deal. We were unsure of what was included as she just sent us an email and said here show this to them upon check in. Off we went in the dead of winter, the worst February in history ( I think it is that bad! ). Not the first place I would choose to go in winter but it was a few days away from work and the daily grind. We were told that there were food vouchers for the two days, which was a nice surprise as were not expecting it. Now my husband and I have bought rooms offline before and have learned that when you buy a room offline you usually get the worst room in the hotel. You know the one? Near the heating and air conditioning equipment! The noisy room, the room with the worst view! Well, that's what we got again. The room with the worst few and the noisy equipment! The room was spacious and clean but noisy and an ugly view. (see photo)
Now onto the food voucher debacle. We were told you can only use them at two (2) restaurants! Mind you they have many restaurants and a fast food area in this hotel but you can not use the vouchers at any of those places. The two restaurants were Breadsticks and the asian restaurant.
Well guess what? The asian restaurants were closed for both days we were there. Guess what else? The token restaurant that you could go to was insane! The lines were forever! We were starving and upset that they did not let you use these vouchers at a different restaurant due to the fact that the other was closed! This is just common sense! We are the customer, we are the ones coming there and spending our money, don't you think the management should have made some other arrangements for all at the hotel? Bad management! Finally we were so angry my husband went to the promotions booth to complain! Sad you have to do that but my daughter paid for this trip and we should get what she paid for. The woman at the desk said she could not do anything about it so my husband asked for a supervisor who gave us another voucher that could be used in any of the eating establishments! Thank goodness! Margharitaville here we come! Gone are the days where Atlantic city would give you comp if you just asked for it. We used to spend many summers at the Harrah's, Tropicana and Ceasar's and while we were gambling we would be asked if we were hungry and they would give us comp! That's the Atlantic city I remember. It was cold, the boardwalk dead, no shows open, no trivia contests in the middle of the week, nothing! Don't ever go in the winter, in the middle of the week and expect to find anything to do, it's just not happening! The bars empty, the waitresses in the casino, where were they? We had to walk around to find them. Not so friendly either. A few people who were having the same problem had to stand by the door where we saw them coming out to try and get a drink!
We did have to pay five dollars to park during our stay. When we checked out they told us we had to pay a 20.00 resort fee, so I am thinking they got me for parking after all!

Room Tip: make sure you ask for a room not near the heating or air conditioning equipment.
