Walking along the boulevard, west of the Historical Centre, this restaurant on top of a 5 floor building, caught my eye. Although I wasn´t hungry, I decided to go up there, mainly to avoid the noon heat.
It looked posh and the dishes on the menu were very tempting. Since I wasn´t hungry, I decided to order two starters: the Bisque Frutos Del Mar and Pulpo A la Gallega. The latter was described as: tender tentacles etc.
Let me get to the point. The seafood in the bisque and the tender tentacles were not tender at all. Not even rubbery, the were hard and tough!
Now, I might be mistaken. Maybe seafood in Colombia is commonly eaten that way. But I doubt that.
