We decided to try Baca for this Friday Food Night. We had been to the bar before but now we wanted to sample the food. When you walk in, you're first aware of the bar. The base is lit with a nice-shade-of blue and it was fairly full when we arrived. It looked like an after work crowd who were enjoying themselves. We sat at one of the bar style table. There are sections that had a sofas surrounding low tables just perfect for relaxing with a drink. The TV's were on but not loud; it was a bit of background noise. We ordered vodka martinis and they were good. We had the sushi from the happy hour menu (there was also a free jalapeno appetizer if you like them on Facebook). The sushi was fine; we've had better and worse. We ordered burgers, one beef, one veggie. This came with some pretty great fries-hot, crispy and full of flavor. The veggie burger was one of the best I've ever eaten but, because veggie burgers don't hold together like meat ones do, I had a lot more burger than bun. The hamburger was fine; again, we've had better and worse. The service is great at least around 5 on a Friday. The vibe was happy and upbeat . We'll bring some summer friends/family here at least for drinks.

Not sure how they are staying in business since this chic, cavernous restaurant/bar was empty. We came for sushi happy hour which was a good value. The drinks are fair. There are too many bars in the area that are offering happy hour martinis using premium liguor. Baca could do better. The atmosphere is fabulous but the bar scene was boring. But to be fair, my visit was off-season and during the week. Hopefully, the weekends are better.

Suuuuuper trendy spot to enjoy some late night drinks. If your lucky enough to get a table you will get great service. If your stuck standing you will have trouble getting rounds at the bar. Good thing about this place is that it makes sense in a t shirt or a suit.

Visited sunday night about 5:30pm. Not busy, and idle barkeeps standing around.
Ordered lettuce wraps and korean bbq wings. What arrived was spicy chicken nuggets and wraps were three tiny chicken pieces with iceberg lettuce. WRONG!
Bartender swore they were korean wings.
We flagged manager who confirmed they were spicy chicken nuggets. But he did nothing to resolve it.
Cold bar and atmosphere...poor inattentive service. Calls itself a sports bar, but it has an identity crisis. Manager was a youngster who seemed fearful of his staff to rectify the situation to any satisfaction.
With so many other bars and eateries in the area, take a pass on this establishment...
