A/c wasn’t as cold as I would have liked but the black out curtains, bed a pillows made up for it. In a good location for food and nightlife! Breakfast layout was phenomenal! Service was good, would stay here again.

The venue is located in the centre of Chengdu. The hotel is quite big with the highest floor being the 29th floor. The rooms are not too small but not big too. The furniture and equipment are new and in good shape. The breakfast is a mixture of Western and Chinese style, quite considerable and good. The lobby bar is good but a long island ice tea should not contain only a splash of coke. The check-in is Chinese fast and the check-out was fast.

Love this hotel - very comfortable and well located .Staff helpful but limited English speaking at some times.Great buffet breakfast selection .Handy metro stop a short step away , ATM with english instructions , and eateries at back of hotel carpark .A short stroll to The Atrium and Tai Koo Li malls . Great place to stay .

Room Tip: Avoid rooms above the restaurant otherwise the cooking smells waft upwards in the ventilation shafts

Good location (basically just 50 m from metro station). Fast, friendly and helpful staff. Room modern and comfy. Breakfast was good, thou dining area was too small. The restaurant was very crowded. Fast check-out.

Stayed here for 3 nights in April, on business. Reached the hotel around 4pm and the check in process was fast and simple with courteous and helpful staff at the front desk who were quite good in English.

The first room allotted to us was clean & nice, though we expected the rooms to be larger. However, to our horror, we found that the bathroom shower area had a clear & transparent glass partition with the bedroom ! We couldn't see any curtain that could be pulled out from anywhere either. After a few calls to the front desk, the Housekeeping staff arrived and showed us that there is a switch inside the bathroom to roll down the curtain. Unfortunately, the curtain roller was defective and the curtain did not roll down properly, leaving a large gap through which the shower area was still visible from inside the room !

So, we were shifted to another room in a short while and we first checked the roll down curtain, which turned out to be working properly. However, what baffled us was the fact that this curtain was on the outside of the bathroom, such that, even if it was rolled down, one could easily insert their fingers around the edges of the curtain to pull back and peep inside without the knowledge or consent of the one inside the shower !

While it definitely seems a bit kinky to me to have such a roll down curtain in the first place, if a curtain had to be provided, shouldn't it be placed inside the shower area ? Beats me !!

Anyway, we soon discovered that the second room also had a problem - the bathroom door couldn't be locked ! The rotary knob of the latch on the door wouldn't engage properly with the slot in the frame and hence it just wouldn't lock ! So, another call to Housekeeping and they said they would change the room again.

We had to leave for a dinner engagement and hence we told the front desk that we would keep our luggage packed and that they could transfer them to another room during our absence. However, when we came back to the hotel, we found that they had not shifted our luggage to another room. This was taken care of quickly, but then, to our dismay, we found that the bathroom door even in this room wouldn't lock ! By then, we were just too tired to call & complain again and we just lived with this for the 3 nights that we were there !!

But for these little issues that we faced in the rooms, we have no other complaints !

The breakfast is sumptuous with a fantastic range of items, though with more options for the local or Oriental palate, but with eggs made to order and wide selection of bakery items, fruits, juices, salads, good coffee etc., I had no complaints whatsoever !

This hotel is also located in a nice area, next to a subway station just outside, close to the river front which makes it a lovely place for a long walk, many bars just around the corner, shopping areas also not too far, walk-able distance to Tianfu Square and the Museums etc.

A large lobby with helpful staff and a nice ambience add to the charm of the place. The bar adjacent to the lobby, open till midnight, was just what we needed and made full use of it on two evenings !

A Fitness center is also available as is a full service restaurant within the premises.

Would definitely like to come back here again - especially for the breakfast and the location !
