excellent hotel
rooms are spacious and very nicely furnished and organized with large bathrooms, board and a wide desk

and the breakfast buffet at the 37th floor is simply outstanding, with western and chinese food, sushi counter, pastry and freshly made homelette, noodles and dumplings ... and a nice selection of cheeses

Beautiful new hotel in jinan having 35 floor check in. Staff very courteous from check in to check out was upgraded to a one bedroom room suite with spectacular view one of Best suites compare to other Hilton’s they have sky top restaurant and a lounge where one can relax and enjoy

Unique to other hotels in town, our reception is located in level 35 where you can enjoy skyline view in check-in and check-out time. It is awesome to see you had experienced a lovely and comfortable night in our spacious one-bedroom suite. In every guest room of our hotel, spectacular view is always there for you. Our F&B outlets are usually highlights for our guests - OPEN will delight you with wonderful buffet and specially selected wines and drinks are available in JI LOUNG for your relax time.

My wife and I recently stayed at this property during the Chinese New Year. It is a time when it can be challenging for the hotel to keep up their standard as many staff go away to be with their families for the new year. This wasn’t the case in Hilton Jinan. From the time we stepped in until we left we had an outstanding service. At first we thought it was because we were diamonds member but that wasn’t the case. Their hotel staff is doing a great job with all guests from what we could see. Even if they had close their executive lounge they made up with it with a happy hour setup in the lounge bar. Special mention to Alex (F&B manager) and the chef. Their “dirty” bread is to die for. We will definitely go back again for business or pleasure.

Some of the flaws are fixable and some are not.
Service all around is good from the front desk to the concierge. That is if you speak Chinese. 99 percent of the staff do NOT speak ANY English I felt like I was staying at a three star local Chinese hotel chain. The property is nice but getting tired everything looks gloomy instead of glitzy. The room is a good size. The bed is on the hard side not the usual heavenly bed. The shower was ok not great but not very clean. This hotel is far from everything if you need to go to Jinan west station it will take you about 45-60 minutes I don't know why the other reviews wrote it is close. I had to leave very early in the morning to catch a train at Jinan west station
so couldn't have breakfast so can't review the breakfast. The executive lounge is nice but again the staff do not speak any English. The HR management and housekeeping management need a good shakeup.
This hotel has the tools to be a great hotel but has a long way to get there. Disappointing.

Thank you for having chosen Hilton Jinan South Hotel & Residences of your recent stay, and for having taken your time writing the comments. It is a regret that in some areas we did not meet your expectations on this occasion. As a matter of fact that hotel and team members actually have been trying greatly on the improvements, while unfortunately receiving foreign guests are very limited in Jinan market, our progress has not been very satisfied.  Please do reach us in advance when any future trips bring you back to Jinan, and our native speaker team members will be glad to look after your needs in person. Hotel offers spacious guest rooms equipped with convenient facilities. Regarding to your comments to cleaness of your room, the Housekeeping team has checked the room and improvement is undergoing. The hotel is located near South Road of Second Ring Highway, which is conveniently connected to strategic locations such as Jinan West Station. Please do tell our concierge team before your next stay and they are happy to assist you with your transportation. Our Expectations were high as a Hilton Diamond member but at check in, it was hitting the ground! At 4 pm check in, we were told the rooms were not ready. We were offered an apartment style rooms for four of us to rest. The front desk manager were very rude when he learnt that we do not take his "kind offer" and did not understand why four men could not get in one room?! After that we never saw any smiles at the lounge we were waiting for two hours. Each hotels must have pro and cons. Sure enough, we felt superb services by the girl named "Seven". We have Guest came for dinner and she made all 11 people enjoyed a nice dinner! If you happen to stay at this hotel, enjoy the good services at the breakfast and if a dinner possible! Try to get yourself extra time to check in and specially checking out. Do not even think about talking the manager on duty at the front desk!

Our hotel offers one, two or three bedrooms apartments with the options of twin and king bed.
