Following the Tripadvisor ratings and the location in the Color city tourist trap, we decided to explore this restaurant. Neighboring restaurants were too seedy.
I am not sure if we hit a bad day or if the restaurant has gone down, but the experience was disappointing.
Upon arrival, the restaurant was empty, no patrons, and we went upstairs.
With a bit of patience and pictures we could explain to the waitstaff what food and drinks we liked. Quite unusual to eat Austrian style cuisine in China.
The experience was not great, either the cook took a day off or ingredients were stale. Not much flavor to the food.
Get used to patrons smoking in the restaurant.
A large pint of beer helped washing the disappointment down.
