In all of my "business" travels over the years (and they are many), I can honestly say that I have never been given a room with no windows. Maybe I am being over dramatic here, but on arriving at a business hotel after many many hours work and travel, I don't expect to be offered a box to sleep in.
On enquiring for another room... "sorry they are full". No surprise there... why did you build a hotel with windowless room in the first place? If you want to be a no frills, "customer will be happy with anything" type hotel, do that. But if you want to be a credible business Hotel, then at least build rooms with a window.
For the record, I was never offered one or the other on booking, so didnt know there was an option.

On a brighter side (artificially lit of course) the hotel decor, amenities etc are fine - typical for a 4* type business hotel (but without the glass!!)

In summary, check which room you will be in before you arrive

Room Tip: ask for a window

In our visit to Wuxi the company we were visiting booked this hotel for us for a great rate. The hotel is huge, and so are the rooms. Excellent rooms for a great price. It’s basically a 4 stars hotel with 5 stars amenities in its rooms. The rooms are clean and very comfortable and the bathroom is luxurious. The hotel offers free Wi-Fi service in the rooms and the coverage is excellent (there is a router in each room). I had an internal room with a mirror instead of a window, but I did not mind it at all. There is a famous seafood restaurant in the Hotel, where we were invited to a dinner at it by the company we were visiting, and we got chose our catch from its expansive fish market. Then we had our dinner in a private dining room with very attentive hostesses. There is also a 24 hour cafeteria, but for international traveler’s taste, it might not be that appealing. Still we managed to find Starbucks cafes all over the city for our breakfast, and other restaurant for the other meals.
Price-wise, the hotel offer great rates for the kind of rooms we stayed at, and overall, we very much enjoyed our stay in the hotel, despite its location which is a little bit out the city center. I think for a business traveler with a modest budget, this is well beyond the expectations especially for the price you’d pay.
