I loved this place on all accounts. I stayed one day in the dorms and two days in a private room. For the basics, it's very clean, attractive, affordable, lively without feeling like a frat house, and centrally located without being in the thick of the craziest part of town. For the extras, you cannot do better. The super helpful and friendly staff are great (and patient). There's a onsite tour director to help you get the most out of your time not just at the temples, but Siem Reap in general, plus travel arrangements to your next destination. When you can't face the town, the in-house pool, billiards, bar/restaurant, yoga room, and cinema are there for you. And they have awesome music on the jukebox. They will even arrange massages for you (important after your day's adventures). This would all be great, but they also provide ethical working conditions for their staff and drivers with better than average wages and benefits. You cannot go wrong here!

Room Tip: The dorms are roomy and clean; private rooms are outstanding

I love this hostel. It's not a party hostel, nor is it a dead, recluse-type hostel. It's in the nice middle-ground. I also visited in the off-season. During the day it's fairly quiet as most people are out and about seeing the temples, etc. Around 5 pm or so, lot of people come back and meet up around the bar for the happy hour and I had great conversations every evening. There are plenty of spaces for privacy if you need to make a call, etc. My only minor gripe was the wifi kept cutting out, but they were always great about restarting the routers if there was an issue.

+ my dorm was on the third floor, so could not hear noice from the bar
+swimming pool
+ good food prices
+ room cleaned every day , sheets changed every couple days
+ balconies on every floor
+ lots of different common areas
+ about 5-10 minute walk from pub street so far enough that it's quiet but close enough for an easy walk
+taxis are set up so prices are set
+ free pickup from airport (you have to pay $5 for drop off )
+ big rooms

- although mattresses were comfortable, they were getting old and on mine you could feel the box springs
-there was sex being had multiple times in the mixed dorm rooms which is incredibly rude to other travelers. But not sure how the hostel can help this. There are plenty of spots you can go that would not involve other travelers listening to you.

Loved this place. The staff are super helpful and friendly, the rooms and beds are cleaned regularly, the food is delicious at very reasonable prices, and it has a decent pool, not to mention a pool table and cinema. They make the temple tours safe and easy to book. This was not a place with a wild bar culture, just a great place to chat and chill, make friends easily.
I had to leave in a hurry due to mixing my flight times up, and never got a chance to thank many of the guys personally. A big shout has to go to Liam, one of a great team who make the place tick, especially for taking time to show us around Siem Reap. Loved the Sunday Carnival. Cheers mate, take care!

Would go back in a heart beat, friendly people, great food and cheap booze! Was half way across the world and felt at home thanks to the staff and owners who made us feel welcome. Can't recommend this place enough. Rooms were lovely and beds were good. Planning my next trip and first stop will be here!
