I was pleased with the colonial decor of the entrance lobby and the use of heavy set furniture and wood in the rooms. The staff is friendly and speaks functional English.

Located next to a gendarmerie, the property is removed from the hustle of the main street yet remains within walking distance of a mall and the night market.

The buffet breakfast has enough options for those who are vegetarian. WiFi was free and the hotel offered complementary use of their spa -which by itself is pretty decent.

So charming is the property that I had half a mind to skip the day-tour to Angkor Wat and simply laze in bed!

We stayed in this hotel for two nights, enjoying 2.5 days exploring the magnificent Angkor Temple complexes that surround Siem Reap. The hotel is in the center of Sien Reap, a block off the frenetic main street. It was a quiet location, yet so easily accessible to a great selection of restaurants and the night markets - all within walking distance.
The hotel is relatively old but very nicely maintained. The building looks grand, and certainly has that old world grand feeling about it, with the spacious open lobby and dining area. The reception staff were welcoming and helpful. The room, on the first floor looked down to the swimming pool and bar area. Even so, the room seemed dark and gloomy. We had to call housekeeping twice - pillows had no pillowcases on them; the safe in the room was unable to be locked. These were attended to relatively quickly. The room was very spacious, and clean. The bathroom was adequate, although the hot water was not always available, and lukewarm at best.
The buffet breakfast was abundant, fresh and a great range of hot and cold foods to choose from, as well as eggs made to request. Fresh fruits were wonderful. WiFi internet was free, and signal was strong. There are many many hotels in Siem Reap, and overall, this seemed good value for money.

Room tip: Ask for a room overlooking the street

We spent 3 nights in this hotel. Nice heritage building and friendly staff. This is so close to the city of Siem Reap and still located among tranquil settings. Nice pool although it could have been bigger. Limited items on the food menu but the taste was good (largely oriental). One drawback was the non-availability of 24 hours running hot water. But the rooms and comfortable beds made up for this. You can get tuk-tuks easily outside the hotel and the hotel staff help you get a good deal.

We spent 3 nights at Casa Angkor as part of an Intrepid tour. Rooms were good with comfortable beds and quiet but efficient air con.
The staff were welcoming, friendly and helpful.
Breakfast was good with plenty of choices from fresh omelets to noodles.
Location was in a quiet location, a short walk from the main road and all the action.
Definitely would recommend this hotel,
