Description: Situated in the serene gardens and surrounded by traditional Cambodian boundary stones with majestic wooden gates at the entrance, the Apsara Terrace is a 'must-do' experience in Cambodia. Enjoy a majestic performance with Cambodian dances and Khmer martial art with a selection of pan-Asian barbeque cuisine. This distinctive Cambodian venue is very versatile - for parties, barbecues and pre-dinner cocktails.

As part of a group tour (although I believe it was open to others as well) we enjoyed dinner and a cultural dance show. The food was set in 10 food stations which offered a variety of types of food. Several allowed you to customize. During dinner there was a multipart show of dancing, music, and costumes from the area.

For USD46++ per person, the buffet spread was quite pathetic. The grill meats were generally tough. and the options limited. the only food station i felt the food was at least tasty was the live cooking station. and maybe the the dessert station. other than that, the rest were really disappointing.

of course, it didn't help that the hotel's website information wasn't updated -- i booked the dinner thinking that there will be free flow of beer/soft drinks (apparently promotion has ended in Oct). so we paid for our own drinks. 3 small complimentary bottles of water were provided after we provided our feedback.

staff were nice and attentive. but that cannot make up for the lack in the buffet spread which was what we paid for. Was expecting more from Raffles Hotel.

the dances - were enjoyable yes - but not sure if it's worth the $$$ we paid for.

I wouldn't recommend this at all. Do look for other alternatives.

wow wow wow. TOTALLY NOT worth USD46++ at all. Paid $108 for two people, including the service charge and whatnot. They no longer have the free flow Tiger beer even though it's still on the website. Instead they only gave one tiny "complimentary" bottle of water. I've never heard of a buffet without free flow of basic water. I come from singapore and for this price at a hotel buffet where i come from, i'll be able to get a buffer spread that includes Alaskan crabs and sashimi. The spread here was dismal for this price. It's experiences like this that leave a terrible bitter taste in anyone's experience of this country. Truly Scambodia. Go for Angkor Village Apsara Theatre for a much cosier and value for money experience.

Due to the sudden rainfall , this show was perform inside the hotel by the lobby, it was still beautiful.. music was great, customs very colorful and the hug long nails kind of scary :)) but it was 40 min. of joy & cultural entertainment.

Superb, professional dancers, great Khmer orchestra. This time, there was a female singer whose voice seemed to have come down straight from the mysterious temples of Angkor.
