The Angkor village resort and spa is an absolute gem! Strolling among the gardens, along the winding 200 metres long river pool to go for breakfast is just the best way to start the day. We stayed 7 nights in the deluxe suite, and I could have moved in permanently. The suite with private pool was exquisite. The entire staff was friendly, efficient, politely demure and service was exceptional. It is the perfect place to take a break from the noise and crowds of pub street and Angkor monuments. We were treated like VVVVVVVVIPs and I can only highly recommend this stupendous resort.

Room Tip: Choose the suites with private pool. DIvine

We loved the intricate wooden carvings everywhere, the plants, the open-air design that makes the whole place feel like one big summer camp/colonial villa. The river-like pool is awesome, but most of all the service was top-rate. Every little thing, it felt like the staff was honored to help. Breakfast was great, and served in a patio-like area surrounded by trees and ponds. The bed was very comfortable too. A short tuk-tuk ride outside of Siem Reap, this hotel is a special place.

Very unique lodge type resort. Amazing Welcome iced tea.
The room we had was nice, we were upgraded to a junior suite, which was lovely, but when we booked the room it was to have wi-fi but the suite did not, we had to use common areas to do some travel planning. Not a big inconvenience, but not optimal.
The food in the restaurant was great, chicken satay and my wife had mango snapper. Breakfast spread was also very well put together.
Didn't spend a lot of time at the resort, but did make use of the river-esque pool after a long day at Angkor Wat.
They also helped set up airport transfer and transport to the ruins.

A good but little old fashioned hotel which is set in a very nice garden. It is outside from the centre of Siem Reap quiet close to Angkor Wat. With the Tuk Tuk it is just a 10-15 minute drive to the busy centre of Siem Reap. The food and drinks are good but the service could be a bit more proactive.

Planned 1 night - stayed 3. There is a lot of hotels in Siem Reap which are luxury however this one is a rare pearl. It's located in the jungle where gardeners are inspecting all plants on a daily basis, the amount of plants here is so huge that I can easily call it a botanical garden. The staff is extremely nice and helpful and always presents a huge smile towards you. The pool is the 1st pool in my life that I used in ANY hotel. The rooms are equipped with a beautiful furnitures, all look like handmade work. The food in restaurant is delicious and the breakfasts are so delicious that you can actually gain weight because it would be a sin not to try a little bit of everything. The hotel management is also a top class when it comes to customer service. I could write and write and write on how happy we are from our stay here but I wil summarize it in one sentence: Our stay here was just PERFECT and we already want to visit Angkor Village again. Thank you Angkor Village Resort for everything! We absolutely love you!

Room Tip: park view room is great
