Beautiful resort with amazing service. People are extremely helpful and pleasant. Grounds are kept very nice. Food and entertainment was fantastic. Close to all monuments and historical sites. Biggest swimming pool anywhere. Shopping very close by. Nice size rooms with good amenities. Nicely decorated. Would recommend this to anyone.

We had a most amazing stay at the Raffles Grand Hotel d'Angkor in Siem Reap! We are grateful to the team for making our family holiday so very special. The Raffles team had excellent suggestions and arranged for a driver who took us to Ta Phrom, Bayon and Angkor Wat. In the evening we had a private birthday dinner in the garden that was truly amazing, we felt like royalty. And Angela, the chef, created a delicious royal Khmer dinner for us with a chocolate birthday cake exactly to the taste of my daughter. Afterwards we had a private showing of Tomb Raider which was shot at Ta Phrom. So exciting to first see the real temple and then the movie! The next day we were chauffeured around the city in a 1902 vintage car built for Queen Elizabeth! Absolutely fabulous as we saw a local market (not discovered by tourists yet) with interesting food, and had a great time at the Phare Circus. We spent five days, and each was a wonderful experience—some sight seeing (in addition to the beautiful and mystical temples, we visited the floating village, downtown, Pub Street, Night Market), some relaxation (pool, spa, lounges), some play (we could play tennis in the mornings before it got too hot). Thank you Raffles Team for making this one of our most special family holidays.

My cycling tour group stayed here for two nights and I was charmed by the place. The piano player in the bar and classic elevator set an immediate positive impression. I was tired upon arrival after a long day of travel so I ordered room service and was brought an exquisite meal. My room was large and well appointed. The next day I enjoyed the pool area and did an extensive walk through of the immaculately maintained grounds. The flowers are stunning. While I was in the Culinary Garden a cook from the kitchen came out to gather fresh ingredients for evening meal preparation. She spoke good English and we had a nice chat. I also enjoyed spending time in the ground floor photo gallery. This property is full of surprises and character for any guest who will take the time to slow down and be observant.

Wow! As soon as we arrived at this hotel we felt relaxed and were made to feel welcome. Hotel is service is probably the best I have ever experienced - I feel like the Queen when I walk through the front door - the staff hand you cold flannels and hold doors. Service round the pool was brilliant - I can’t remember waiters name but he was excellent telling us local knowledge. We had breakfast 1 day in hotel - a waitress called Sokhi was excellent. Manager called Phearom So introduced himself to us - genuinely wanted to make sure we had enjoyed our stay. We stayed for 2 nights and will definitely come back if we are ever lucky enough to be able to visit Cambodia again xx

Since nothing is perfect, we did not care much for the toiletries (see photo). They were from a French brand but the products were made in China. The scents were not to our liking. In addition, we were expecting a free airport shuttle considering the prices of their rooms, but unfortunately this was not the case.

Putting these aside, Raffles Angkor is everything you would expect from a 5-star hotel. Luxurious room. Huge pool. Excellent breakfast spread. Service was always there but never obtrusive. Amazing experience from check-in to check-out. Would love to be back!
