Our group of 11 friends stayed at the hotel for 5 days and had a wonderful time. The staff went out of their way to ensure we had everything we needed. The breakfast is one of the best in Austria. I hope to come back in winter.

Pro: I love that it is a family run hotel. There are plenty of comfy living rooms on the ground floor with teas and cookies and plenty of board games and puzzles to be enjoyed by the whole family. We love hanging out by their biggest living room with nice warm fireplace, it was a very nice experience. The owner and her family was friendly and helpful. We were a group of 9, with 6 adults and 3 children. The rooms were comfortable and spacious and the beds were very comfortable. Location was great and within walking distance everywhere.

Cons: The wifi can be better, else you need to be on the hallway or on the ground floor to get signals. Breakfast was decent but can also be improved.

I came to try their restaurant and the two waiters were soo rude and cold and they looked at us as if we are going to eat there for free. The outdoor seating was full, they could of talked to us nicely instead of being rude and rolling their eyes!

We tried beef and chicken burgers. Both are tasty and big! Waiter and waitresses are nice. Prices are reasonable. The location is convenient, which is just next to the famous church in St Wolfgang. You should try it when you passby.

Never get tired of visiting St Wolfgang and have been coming here on holiday since early 1980's. Zimmerbrau, very well managed, in a central location, beautifully appointed rooms, lounge and restaurant, combined with efficient friendly staff. Good choice at breakfast including omelette/ egg station cooked to order. We were half board and chose up to 3 courses daily from the Alacarte menu @ 18 euros, very good value. Good varied menu, well cooked food, especially the Wiener schnitzel & apple strudel. Rooms have small fridge , kettle with tea & coffee also provided. Strong, brolly also provided in each room. Lovely lakeside garden, bathing area, plenty loungers.Drinks reasonably priced with outdoor seating if required, ideal in hot weather. Free tea & coffee available in the lounge aternoon & evening. Wifi available some rooms weak signal. Alexandra & Hans, owners do a splendid job, overall a very well run establishment worth visiting again & again.

Room Tip: High floor wth partial lake view.
