Description: Two blocks off of Highway 60 on Historic Main, Mama Loca's Cafe is in the Chandler Dry Good's Building built in the 1890's. Track side dining available (yes, next to the Railroad Tracks) - weather permitting and pet friendly. Great food- made with the fresh produce and meats all cooked by owner, Mama Loca. As a second generation restauranteur she has also worked in the high volume tourism industry of Northwest Florida for 13 years.Following a traumatic brain injury in 2006 doctors said she would likely never do anything again. In 2010 she proved many wrong with a need for PURPOSE. The dream came to life and is the reason for the limited days of availability. Husband and bartender Marc, is a retired police officer and always has a smile and is the charm of the duo. He is likely the first you will see as you enter and is known for his popular "Fire and Ice" Margarita and his very own Bois 'D Arc blended whiskey. Located on the Trans-Am Bicycle Trail Mama Loca has also been given the distinctive title of Trail Angel.

Best in springfield,mo area! Deloris (mama) is not just cook, but a real Chef. I have a hard time deciding what to have off menu everytime. So good and so much ,never go away hungry. And Mark, he is a real bartender in my book. In a day where everyone is making drinks cheap & from a mix , not him. He can make you a drink you ll wanna keep them coming. Great atmosphere, feels like dining with friends.

We have went here twice. It was suggested by a friend of mine we try it as it was their favorite restaurant. When you walk in you just feel very welcomed, almost like you’ve walked into grandmas house (I say grandmas house as that is a place I feel welcomed and right at home). I love how the tables and chairs aren’t your typical restaurant style...they are kitchen tables like what you would have at home, which helps with that family at home atmosphere. The food is amazing! One of my kids does not like Mexican food but she loves eating there because their menu is a mix of Mexican and American food such as burgers, shrimp, and chicken strips. The salsa they serve with their chips is the BEST I have ever had! While eating the husband and wife who own the restaurant will walk around and check on you. It’s not a quick hope your meal is good and walk away. They treat you like you are a friend and will ask how everyone is doing and start a conversation. They are super friendly! And if you are not stuffed after your meal you have got to try one of the amazing deserts they make. I honestly couldn’t say what my favorite is, but the fried ice cream, cobbler, and flan are amazing. I have had flan other places but nothing compared to this. Absolutely love this place!

Deep fried tacos are great, two are almost too much to eat, delicious. V & G had chicken fajitas, had a bite, they were verygood also. Mamas has wide selection of beers served by knowledgeable bartender who makes a killer Margarita.

I had the fried tacos, The best I have had. The salsa is homemade and goes great with everything. Good selection of tap beers which are priced lower than most places.

I have visited this establishment numerous times. I have never had anything but good experiences here. The staff is is amazing, always friendly and efficient. The food is cooked to order and never disappointing. Even if you aren't in the mood for Mexican, there is something for everyone, including children. The Restaurant is always clean, well kept and located in a cool historical building. Unless they are incredibly busy, at least one of the owners will usually visit your table to personally ensure that you had a wonderful experience.
