We stayed here on our way to Minneapolis. It was not a good stop. The beds were very old and bouncy. The bathroom was small with the toilet height suitable for toddlers; the walls needed a good scrub. The shower height was good. The area behind the tv had garbage (noticed when plugging in the coffee maker.). The hallway smelled like smoke in an area. The jam for the toast was like rubber so it must have been very old I have nothing much good to say about our stay. The place was apparently full due to the snowmobile races in town. Our room was quiet and we heard no outside noises.

Wife and I had traveled 500 miles for the day and opted to stop in Alexandria and stay at this Day's Inn as we have in the past. You go inside and dial "0" for the front desk person. Gentleman came out right away and we got a room right away. There are stairs to navigate which we can still do but others might want to request a room on the ground floor. Breakfast is good. Limited selections but one can make a quick morning meal out of the items to choose from. That's the way its been from the previous times we have stayed here. We had some difficulty checking out. There was a female in the chair behind the registration desk that was asleep with a blanket over her. It wasn't obvious whether or not she actually worked there or was there along with someone else. I wanted to check out and she seemed as though she didn't understand what she was supposed to do. I dialed "0" on the phone several times to see whether or not there was another hotel employee in the building. No one showed up and this individual just stayed in the chair. Shortly thereafter, a day shift employee showed up and was able to check me out. She spoke to the other female employee and asked her to go and check the milk in the thermoses since their regular milk dispenser was out of order. It was obvious that something's not right with this picture to the point that if there was an emergency, this individual would not be able to address the situation. Suggestion to reassign person to a different job or there might be liability problems. Other than this scenario, we would stay here again.
Thanks for stay with us..your feedback is really important for us..we find out what problem with our night employee ..we are very sorry for that..we took action again that situation,
