We stayed here for drop-off weekend for the University of Michigan. We enjoyed the comfortable room and nice linens. Breakfast was unpredictable, but they did have delicious Michigan Cherries for the oatmeal in the morning!

Hello,

Thank you for reviewing our hotel during your stay in early September. We appreciate you taking the time. Michigan move-in is always a great week for us as we welcome back the students after the summer break. Our breakfast menu does rotate daily between different types of eggs and breakfast meat, but the oatmeal (yes, Mihcigan dried cherries as a topper), cereals, muffins, waffles and much more normally always stay the same. We like to give variety!!

The AC unit was extremely noisy with very loud creaking sounds. Spoke with the front desk, but they couldn't change my room because the hotel was fully booked, and since it was late night they couldn’t send tech to solve it.Couldn't sleep at night!

Taking a child to U-M and wanted a location close by - found this with my Hilton app. Very satisfied, as it was exactly what I wanted and have come to expect with a Hampton Inn. Traveling alone and felt secure at all times.

We choose hotels with a pool and hot tub. This property had a very nice pool area, but when they remodeled l, they took out the hot tub. They need to update their photos and remove the spa info from the wall in the pool area. The rooms were very nice, and the staff was friendly.

Hello,

Thank you for taking the time to write about your stay at our hotel. We did remodel last year and we have even a few more items to complete this year, which we are really excited about. The spa pictures were removed from our Hilton Homepage - Hampton.com, but unfortunately, previous guests have posted pictures throughout the web and those we are unable to remove. The hotel took the spa out to enlarge our new fitness room that now is doubled in size from our previous room. I am sorry that you came across an old picture, but indeed happy that you found the rooms to be nice and a friendly staff.

People were great. Room too small for queen bed. Hotel looked more like a 2 star. Fitness center down. Bed was uncomfortable. Complementary breakfast was very good. And so does the internet. Overall good stay.

Thank you himadeeps for your review of the Hampton South. Our queen rooms are our smallest rooms as they are located at the far end of our hotel, perhaps next time you would rather enjoy our king rooms that are larger and some even come with pull out sofas. We apologize that the fitness room was down during your stay as we had an ac unit repair going on one day. The fitness room is now doubled in size, has the full length windows to enioy outside light and all of the eqiupment is brand new as of May of this year. We hope you can visit us again soon and enjoy our larger room and get a chance to expierence the fitness room.
