Service and food quality is superb.
You may experience a line if you get there at popular meal times but the food is worth the wait. Be prepared to spend a bit more than you would at a typical sandwich joint but remember quality always costs more. Their artesian breads and great selection of cheeses and speciality item are great as well. Top the experience off with a homemade gelato or a magic brownie. You won't be disappoinred.

True Jewish deli's are hard to find. Zingerman's fits the bill. There are two sections in the corner store; the market for cheeses, breads that will make you swoon and the restaurant line where you place your order from a vast menu which includes a great variety of vegetarian options and cold salads.

I went for the traditional reuben sandwich ($15.99) and a pastrami knish ($3.99). Both were delicious. The couple I was with ordered 2 sandwiches and 3 potatoe pancakes and 1 beverage (tariff $46.10). They were also very pleased with their food.

The market items like honeys of all kinds ($19.99/12 ounces), cookies, etc. all looked amazing but way beyond my budget.

Staff were very friendly and helpful. In short, Zingerman's is a great place!

We waited in line forever. There was no place to eat inside. It was strictly outdoor seating. The sandwiches are not that big of a deal. Not worth the wait.

Even though I live in Ann Arbor, going to Zingermans is always a special treat. The deli is THE BEST, bar none. The staff give their undivided attention making each customer feel you are the most important person to them at that particular moment. Cost is higher than most, but they use meats, cheeses, condiments from places all over the world to provide the very best. Small price compared to the smile you'll be wearing after your first bite.

This is an Ann Arbor experience. Must when you go there. They have so many options that I guarantee you will find one to enjoy. If you don't they will custom make any sandwich you want. They also have an awesome selection of coffee cheeses bread meat and pretty much anything you want.
