I have stayed in hotels rating from 2* to 5* in many countries of the world, but this was the worst of all the places I have stayed in. Was booked for five nights with half board from the UK. On arrival in the evening were told we were not entitled to the evening meal on the day! (Good job there are good shops/restaurants not far away! The dark blue coloured carpet in the room very dirty/soiled and had burn marks of electric iron at various places. The bathroom had mouldy patches in places and the small shower tray had curtain around it which clings to the body when showering. For the evening meals other days, the hotel had placed a quota of 35 UAD on it. This meant nothing but mediocre meals (most of the ingredients out of tins or freezer). Swimming pool area was under repair the whole time we were there. On the sixth day, moved to another hotel.
On the plus side, the reception area was in a reasonably presentable state. The reception staff were very friendly, cheerful and helpful.More
