Stayed here with the family. Liked that it was in the old town, so to speak. Very different from the palm area. Hotel hospitality couldn’t be better. We had a room with waterside views Burj in the background really nice.
Breakfast was good lots of choice for western diet.
The metro is a 4 minute walk to take you to the malls etc. Under £5 for a day pass.
Really enjoyed the stay will book again

The Riviera Hotel was a relaxed quiet place to stay. Handy to the creek which was easy and cheap to cross on one of the many little boats or catch a cab into the busy city which was also cheap to do. Our room which was clean and comfortable looked at a car park but our friends up graded to be on the creek side where there was always something to watch. We had an awesome masala omelette every day for breakfast. The staff were most helpful with planing our day.

We stayed here in late February. It is well located on the Creek, with good views. Rooms have all necessary ammenities, but very tired in appearance. It is in the old part of town,good location to souks.

Yesterday we visited Riviera Hotel Deira to see our friend who is staying there. He has come all the way from Netherlands (Holland) to visit Dubai. And we were very happy to see the reception area. hats off to the lovely view of Dubai Creek from here and the warm and cozy reception area.
Well located near Deira Creek. Staff at this hotel are very fantastic and friendly. They make you feel you are home. Short walking distance to the spice and old souks which i visited. Really, i don't see what can make one to complain! Everything in the room is very clean here. Breakfast is served as a buffet. Full of all sort of foods from one to choose from. Tasty, healthy and well display foods. Plenty of juices and fruits.
All personnel here are amazing (from the doorman, the cleaner, the driver, the people serving in the restaurant, up to the receptionist and manager).
I cannot hesitate to recommend Riviera Hotel.
