Description: Since the founding of a small bakery in the French town of Lille back in 1889, the passion for authentic bread making and quality ingredients has remained in the family and been passed on through generations. And so, until today, the love for everything fresh and for good is at the heart of every PAUL. In addition to the bread and viennoiserie which is baked several times a day, the menu at PAUL boast a good selection of light meals and main courses, as well as desserts and fine pâtisserie. Over time, PAUL has become a successful restaurant business with more than 450 shops in 24 countries and has become renowned for its ‘rustic-chic’ ambience - a true celebration of the French ‘art-de-vivre’. We look forward to welcoming you!

The breads and croissant were stale on a weekend morning.

We'd ordered several different breads and croissant and all were tasteless and stale.

I'm not sure how this is possible as this is the Dubai mall branch.

I am a frequent costumer of Paul in London and was happy to see they also have it in Dubai. To my surprise, the restaurant in Dubai offers a larger variety of dishes, from breakfast to dinner and everything I tried was spectacular. I would recommend trying the breakfast in particular, which comes in a good portion and gives you a taste of the best things the bakery has to offer. I truly look forward to coming back.

After a visit 'At the Top' of Burj Khalifa we went into the Dubai Mall and on the ground floor found 'Paul' and were shown a table on the outside terrace above the fountains and lake. It was mid morning so no activity on the lake but it was lovely sat out in the warm sunshine.
We had a light lunch with a poached egg & smoked salmon tart; an eggs benedict a small continental breakfast with a choice of croissant, an orange juice, a coffee and a piece of lovely baguette with apricot and strawberry jam. The cheese croissant was lovely. A coffee & chocolate croissant was also enjoyed. Service was excellent as was the food quality.
A lovely place to eat if a snack is all that is required.

This was a Saturday afternoon visit at 14:30. The restaurant was half full. We sat for 10 to 15 minutes with menu before order was taken. Five minutes later the waitress returned and stated that only 2 out of 7 salads were available and 1 out of 6 sandwiches. Unfortunately none of these were our choices. This was not communicated when we were provided the menus. The food presented to people did look lovely however the staff were somewhat disjointed and disorganised. A disappointment, a shame when there are so many other options within a few metres walk. Perhaps a bad day?

We chose to sit outside in the non-smoking area and found a table with a nice view of Burj Khalifa and was lucky to watch a playback of the laser show that was played on the New Year’s Eve! So it was a nice coincidence that added to the nice light meal we had and the relaxing ambience this place offers. Thanks to Leizel there for being so attentive and friendly.
