First off, the building from outside looks good, a nice tall building of 22 stories and a nice entrance.

however the lobby looks terrible with a very low ceiling. The receptionists dont speak english. And a huge picture of the Syrian Dictator President welcomes you upon your arrival.

The whole city of Allepo smells like the sewers have exploded, and the hotel is not exception. The lobby smells like poo. The corridors leading to the rooms smell like old poo. As soon as i arrived in my room, i emptied a whole bottle of Chanel N5.

The room itself was minuscule, and again it smelled of poo when i arrived. The beds are short, sleeping on the pillow is like sleeping on a rock, the remote to that tiny 14 inch TV wasnt working, the mini bar had expired drinks in it, and they dont have internet access.... and i was staying in a SUITE!!!

The restroom in the room was ok. The marble they had was pretty and thats the only reason i gave the hotel 1 star. At first sand water came out of the shower but after opening it for 10 minutes it turned clear.

The food at the hotel was terrible, and the service was worse. The pool was ok but tiny. The bathrooms by the pool smelled so bad. The Gym equipment was atleast 10 years old, i was afraid of getting athlete's foot disease. The hotel does have a movie theater but most of the movies playing are Arabic, and the ones that are in English are atleast 6 months old.

The city of Allepo in general smells like poo, the restaurants are terrible with the exception of "Al - Shallal " which was acceptable. the rest are very unsanitory. The taxi drivers are all thieves that take advantage of foreigners and charge them more.

3 days after leaving Allepo, its smell is still in my nostrils. I have nightmares of myself going back there, i like to refer to them as Post-Syria Syndrome.

So incase u ever feel like going there... think twice... for your own good.
