We stopped here a couple of times during a three day stay in Luang Prabang.

The view and the ambiance are superb - we thoroughly enjoyed just sitting watching the rivers and the people crossing the bamboo bridge. We only had small meals but they were very nice - service was spot on too.

Only real criticism is that it's pricier than most other eateries for mid day snacks - although we were happy to pay the extra for the relaxing ambiance, gorgeous view and good service.

Dear Me_n_my_rucksack,

Many thanks for the review regarding your recent visits to our restaurant. Excellent to read that you thoroughly enjoyed relaxing, watching the rivers flow by. Very satisfying to know that you enjoyed your meals so, and also some very nice words on the service team, thank you. As for the pricing comment I understand this, but in fact if you visit any restaurant in Luang Prabang that is a part of a hotel it will most likely be similarly priced. I very much hope that you thoroughly enjoyed your three day stay in this beautiful town and from all of us here at the restaurant we very much hope to be able to welcome you back on your next visit.

Kind regards

Went here to cool down after biking around and very happy I made so. The mango banana shake was refreshingly natural, and the noodle soup was tasty. To top it all was the fantastic view of the Khan meeting the Mekong and attentive service of crew.

The view in the evening is a must do. Lovely spot to watch the day close out.
Drinks left a little to be desired. My cocktail was weak...too much ice. The wine was ok ...just. Juices however were excellent. Fresh and tasty.
Food was solid café style. Mostly local...good curries and local food. We enjoyed our meal. (Not much point travelling to Laos to eat Western...!!)
Service was very good. Attentive and quite professional.
Recommended also for coffee and cake...for a morning rest.

Dear Philippo A,

Thank you so much for taking the time to leave us a review. Very nice to read that you found it such a lovely spot to watch the day close out whilst enjoying your food, I liked your comment regarding not coming to Lao to eat western. Regarding your drinks I can only apologies for your cocktail, this should not have been the case and I shall look into this further. For your wine, if it is not to your taste we are always more than happy to change for another from our list. From all of the staff here at the restaurant, thank you for such kind words and we hope that we have the pleasure of welcoming you back soon.

We ate all breakfasts, several lunches, and one dinner here during our long weekend. (we stayed in their hotel across the street) What an amazing view over the Mekong river, a tributary with a precarious bamboo bridge over the top, and a tiny neighborhood temple across the way. lovely day and night for enchanting views. especially peaceful early morning. the team were so helpful that they even made us dinner the night we arrived, a bit delayed, from a late flight--- and that was a simple but very tasty dinner. don't miss this restaurant's charms!

Enjoy the view of the Mekong/ Khan river confluence whilst sipping on a fruit smoothie or enjoying a bite to eat. The staff are very attentive and the food is fresh, tasty and well presented. We had mango shakes with fresh spring rolls. Very good.
