Dinner last night in Luang Prabang was a taste sensation of Lao Flavours.
Seated in a elegant garden setting, streetside, we started with a cocktail and small traditional rice savoury , followed by our starter of crispy riverweed with a tasty savoury jam spread. A delicious fish soup was then followed by a mixed platter of small bowls of various Lao dishes (4 in all) & steamed rice in banana leaves.
A superb but light dessert of vanilla icecream with rosella sorbet was the perfect finish to this delightful meal.
