Best hotel in Mamaia, very nice rooms, 5* services, laundry services, all new and very clean. The staff is very friendly and responsive to your needs. The bathrooms are a bit too little, but you have all the space you need to have a shower. There aren't enought parking spaces, but you can park for free around the hotel.

The only positive thing about this hotel is the location, very close to the beach; but all hotels in Mamaia are very close to the beach.

The services are terribly bad, most of the staff are not customer oriented, if you don't bug them multiple times with questions they won't do anything to make your stay more enjoyable.

The shower in my room was designed by the gardener I guess, since it's a new-ish design that leaves the water spill in all the bathroom, but the bathroom floor is not inclined almost at all so yes, if you shower for more than 30 seconds, you'll have your bathroom full of water for a couple of hours.

The food does not taste very good or special at all. And it's overpriced, of course.

The front-pool where there's a statue looks miserably, even though it's considered an art monument.

The entire hotel has a very kitsch-ish furniture and design, they want to have a burlesque feel but it falls into a disgrace of a kitsch style.

The WiFi signal is terrible, it's not really worth trying to connect.

You may think that most of resorts treat the business guests with a bit more attention; this was not the case, rather the opposite I can say.

After noticing all the above, we also met the administrators/owners; I will only add that they're poor quality people and stop here because I want this review to be actually published.

I will not be returning or recommending this to anyone looking to stay in Mamaia, not at least they rewamp the building/mentality of the admins/owners.

Hotel is situated in the middle of the Mamaia stroke. Close to the beach, about 2 minutes. They have a private beach (as all hotels there seem to have) but not that private as you have to pay for sun lounges and is accessible to all. You would expect some advantages for hotel guests but that is an illusion.

The lobby looks very nice and modern and check-in and checkout was very quick and comfortable. The hotel of four stores has no elevator. From the great looking lobby you have to walk up on the stairs and you will immediately notice the couches that are on each floor; dirty, damaged etc.

The rooms themselves are very small what is not a problem as most of the time you spend outside. The rooms though are very outdated, you get the feeling you are back in the '70's. Nice balcony with two chairs. The chairs are old and damaged. No phone in the room. Ow yes, there was one, hidden on the top of the closet, not plugged in and of course not meant to be used. Why you don't remove it from the room?

The bed was ok but the sheets very small. When we asked for another sheet they told us that is not possible. First hotel where we encountered this.

Breakfast was good, though they had difficulties to renew the food when finished. Big issue is that there is a big possibility that you have to stand in a queue before enter the breakfast room as all tables are occupied. This while they have a big terrace outside that is connected with the restaurant room but they simply don't use that space.

The hotel though is very clean and you see all the day cleaning staff working on the hallways and rooms. That is a plus. Bad thing is that the cleaning staff doesn't bother about entering your room. We were in our room and heard a knock on the door. Before we could answer the cleaning lady opened the door and entered. We told this to the receptionist who said that she would pass this on. Too bad, nothing happened and we heard more complains.

Positive is the wifi which is free and worked very good in our room.

In conclusion: high prices for few services, bad condition of furniture. Too bad but this is a problem that affects Mamaia. Most hotels offer little services and high prices. It is a kind of arrogance that is hard to battle, a Romanian arrogance. In most countries you won't get away with this, in this country unfortunately people are used to 'swallow' not to take action.

So, avoid Mamaia and all Romanian beach resorts and go to Bulgaria where they know how to treat guests and know about price > quality.

I had the Best breakfast in Mamaia for a 3 stars hotel!

The hotel is clean, 50 m from the sea, renovated, nice overall.

The rooms are small, but is a common characteristic of these types of buildings.

The noise around is not too bad, the telegondola is passing above the hotel.

For Mamaia has a normal price Per room, though there are 3 stars hotels more cheapper. The food is what makes the difference and it worthed to stay there.

The hotel is 50 meters away from the beach, it is very clean and the staff is friendly. The breakfast was OK with plenty of choices. I recommend this one for a weekend getaway.
The only inconvenience is that the room and the bathroom are very small.
