Clean rooms, polite staff, tasty food.
As a boutique hotel I was expected a high accomodation prices but was suprised of their middle level.
Every thing was perfect except the breakfast: four mornings they served only sandwich with ham and cheese. Also the breakfast starts around 8 a.m. and ends at 10 a.m. If you late, you will miss the breakfast but at the same time there is no staff that could serve you anything else. Between 10 a.m. and 12 a.m. the restaurant does not work.

We participated in a Varna tour that included a winery. But this wasn't your typical winery producing volumes of reds and whites for consumers. This was a passion of one of the family members that own the hotel and restaurant. A fascinating two level tasting area back/below the restaurant provided a unique setting to enjoy their small batch vintage. It was interesting to observe her love and knowledge, and have the chance to appreciate, their special product. I believe you can only enjoy/purchase this product at the restaurant.

We had private group dinner at this restaurant which included a very entertaining folklore presentation. I am not sure if one would have the same experience with a standalone meal only. Our food was great - five course dinner and drinks.

When you travel to Varna and you don't know where you can find good food and wine. Don't hesitate to go to White House complex. If you don't know where it is exactly there is a high probability that you will not find it at all. The hotel and restaurant are located in a very calm neighborhood almost at the end of Varna on the road to Golden Sands. Trust me when you find it, you will never go anywhere else. Don't forget to check out the winery, it is underneath the restaurant, and hides many welcoming surprises. The hotel is situated in an 120 years old house, thus the name White House. The rooms and corridors are in the spirit of 19th century and one feels like going back in time. Have fun exploring this place and don't forget to thank me later!

Room Tip: Get the top apartment, it has the best view.
