PROS
Hotel Location:
-- along the boulevard Primorski Polk (no 468) which links downtown Varna to Black Sea resorts St. Konstantin & Elena and Golden Sands and close to Varna city centre (better prices for food, shopping and drinks during season in Varna); POI for taxi/GPS – Varna Piccadilly Mall and Shell Gas Stations across the hotel;
-- easy access by car/bus from both directions (Burgas/Bucharest-Varna-Golden Sands first U-turn back 700 m after passing Shell gas station or Golden Sands-Varna-Burgas/Bucharest – direct access on the right hand across Shell gas station and radar cameras above the street)
-- bus stations right in front of the Hotel;
-- in front of the hotel you have a walking passage which helps you to safely access the other side of the boulevard; across the street cosy medium size Piccadilly Mall (shops, souvenirs, fitness centre, bars, Italian restaurant with good food) and the Shell Gas Station (24h open in case you decide to have a ice-cream );

Hotel Services and Amenities:
-- secured parking places as well possibility to park in front of the hotel in a private parking plot (included in the room price);
-- outdoor terrace with swimming pool available and included in the room price;
-- breakfast was various although the same each morning (08:00 - 10:00)
-- sauna, steam bath and fitness centre (including table tennis) are available at the ground level of the hotel;
-- hotel balcony facing boulevard and with sea view are excellent and roomy if you book the rooms in the middle part of the hotel at any level otherwise if on corner of the hotel the balconies are smaller;
-- our standard room was about 25 sqm on a corner facing the boulevard and sea and included cable TV, bureau, matrimony bed, big expandable couch (child, +1/2 pers) and table, bathroom with shower cabin, a roomy dressing in the lobby;
-- CCTV 24h with aprox. 40 English, German, French, Russian and Romanian satellite channels, air conditioning and free Wi-Fi or fix internet line access included in the room price; we kept the TV almost shut anyway after being curious ;

CONS:
- no fridge available in our room;
- no tempered glass for the glass wall in rooms situated on the left corner of the hotel (e.g. our room no. 303) (becoming to hot inside during mornings even with the air conditioning at full capacity; BUT the same rooms enjoy a superb sea view cause you have almost two walls of glass around your bed and a balcony);
- no lunch or dinner at the hotel restaurant (try instead Happy Restaurants in Varna or Italian food restaurant across the street in Piccadilly Mall);
- little noisy during early mornings cause of the busy boulevard in front of the hotel (you can try a rear view room but you miss the sea view instead :-) );
- tiny access street to the parking place situated in the back courtyard of the hotel is severely damaged by the construction works in past years in the are; until refurbishments to this tinny access street please use the front parking plot of the hotel or you face some claustrophobia .

All Around – a 3 stars Hotel with decent services and excellent location for a short vacation in Varna at the Black Sea. I do recommend them!

Sightseeing Tips around: In Varna (Roman Baths, Aquarium, Delphinarium, Maritime Museum, Mosaic Museums), Varna District: Stone Forest (Pobiti Kamani), Aladzha Monastery (Ancient Rock Monastery), and mor using

We had a week's holiday at this hotel and we had a really lovely time. The room was spacious and clean. The bed was also very comfortable. All the reception staff were friendly and spoke very good English. The hotel itself was also very clean. If I had to say anything negative it would be that there was no table and chairs on the balcony and that the restaurant only served breakfast and no other meals (even though it said on the booking form it did), but there was plenty of other places to go to eat. We would certainly go back again.

Room tip: A room at the back of the hotel rather than the front as it is on a main road and can be rather noisy.
