It isn't just the viewing point that is outstanding but the journey up the mountain by road up from Kotor. At each twist and turn the views become more and more impressive. Don't waste your time trying to take photos through the coach window because all coaches stop here for about 5 minutes for photo opportunities. It can be just a little crowded but generally other tourists are polite and I certainly had little problem. After this spectacular view the road from here to Cetinje is a little disappointing and when I visited the roads were being upgraded.

Twenty five switchbacks, most of them hairpin turns. I know these bus drivers do this everyday but I found myself closing my eyes on more than one occassion. Absolutely beautiful country.

This is without a doubt a place you have to see to believe. It will take your breath away but keep breathing until you take your great photos.

Much like any other hairpin climb up a mountain, but with a more spectacular view than most. Breathtaking and rewarding.

We were on a guided coach tour of parts of Montenegro. The coach tour had departed from Kotor. The first part of the tour had involved a drive up a narrow, steep, zig-zagging road which climbed the side of a mountain. After a "white-knuckle ride lasting about 30 minutes, the coach pulled over at this viewing point.
The views from here were nothing less than spectacular. We could see the entire Kotor Bay with our cruise ship anchored in the bay. Kotor Old City could also be clearly seen as well as the rugged, bare mountains around the bay.
If you can face the prospect of a "thrill-a-minute" drive up the mountain side, you will be rewarded with some magnificent views from this location!
