Quite a few very interesting pieces of marble statues inside. Very interesting and the descriptions are in several languages.

When visiting Arena, very close is Temple of Augustus. Entrance is 10Kn = ~ 1,5e, and all the money from the tickets goes to maintaining the Temple.
It's mesmerising from the outside, and small and lovely from the inside. Lady who works there will answer all of your questions, all you need to do is ask. :)
They always have some kind of archaeological exhibitions inside, so you will be able to see new extra pieces of history.

This ancient temple is full of artifacts that would please any history buff. Because it is located in the main square, it is easy to gaze at it while enjoying a beverage or a meal.

The temple was closed by the time I made it to the old harbor town, this area is a must see anyway, full of restaurants, cafés and bars but gathers most of the monuments too.

It’s location is in the middle of the old town square next to the Venetian styled town hall. There is a small but interesting museum inside the Temple itself but I agree with others that it could be improved; lack of money I imagine is the main problem. Admission is 10 Croatian kuna
