This hotel was build in 1976 and since then NOTHING had changed. Still the same furniture, windows, something they called AIR CONDITION wannabe - but its only dirty fans in the walls... Carpets all over the place are very smelly and dusty, but very authentic 1970s...
The worst part of the hotel experience was the food... More less all the time during our 1 week stay the food was the same... Tasteless, poor variations and very often lack of it, since quests looks like they are starving, alcohol ( watered beer, local red and white wine - nothing else. ) was served only during lunch and dinner, so you have to stay and sit in the dinning area to use something of your `all inclusive` service... that was causing problems, because during peak times there was not enough tables and seats...
Rooms are unbelievable small and looks like building was probably build as a prison originally... And no fridge in the room of course...
Meal times were just 2 hours each time. So breakfast from 7AM to 9AM. Lunch from 12-2PM and dinner from 7PM-9PM. Full options are only in the first hour, if you are are later, then only leftovers for you... btw coffee is just during breakfast time and its like warm mud... and you definitely will not see any fruits - ever!
Soups were all the time disgusting - more less from leftovers from previous meals.
We are doing all inclusive holidays all around the Europe for ages - this was like be back in time 30 years, but with 2020 price tag.
Free Wifi is the only thing in all hotel which one is up todays standards.
Staff in general is rude, dont care and clearly they hate their job, since they are probably badly underpaid or maybe just punished for every single smile... mostly students - working for free or very old people counting days to their retirement.
Apart of reception staff, there is barely any English speaking person in the area... Hotels gym is small and very dated as well, but its not free ! 3 euro for each use per person... Joke !
Owners of this hotel should be ashamed for that kip they are offering for premium prices... It was absolutely terrible `all inclusive `... Hotel Pula is located on the hill, got no real beach, so you have to walk steep down/up to very small public one, which one is always overcrowded. Always... Entertainment team is pathetic... Two students from Slovakia, spending their holidays there and in the spare time playing some music or playing with kids... that was sad. Hotel seems to be used primary by czech and slovaks tourist as they holidays requirement are significantly lower than the rest of the world otherwise that place will got out of business in no time...
Would not recommend it even to my worst enemies... One last warning STAY AWAY from that place by any means !
