With my family we often went to Croatia on holiday, especially in the south. So, for us (we're from Northern Italy) it was the very first time in Istria.
Pola is a lovely city, you can find small shops but also the most famous supermarkets chains just nearby the city center. There are plenty of different beaches to visit, of course with no sand , but the sea is simply great!
Ksenija and his family were extremely kind with us, the house was very clean and tidy. Moreover it offered almost all the supplies we needed it was also possible to eat and spend some peaceful time just outside the house. The only flaw is that the house is very near the street, but during the night there aren't lots of cars, so no sleeping problem!
The house is about 15 minutes to the nearest beach, 10 minutes from the city center and from the supermarkets.
Just crossing the street there's a small, typical market where you can find the delicious Croatian bread avery morning, or just a cold beer! One of the best holiday ever! Thank you Ksenija and thank you Pola!
