“Perfect apartments for a perfect holiday”
Reviewed 9 July 2015 for a stay in June 2015

Thank you very much for the apartment Wanda, the place was gorgeous and tranquil. Ivana made us all very welcome and couldn't do enough for us. The apartment was just outside of Dubrovnik old town, perfect distance to go into town yet feel like you were in the middle of the countryside when sat on the veranda, such was the peace and quiet. Dubrovnik itself is a wonderful place and would not hesitate to recommend both the apartment and the resort to any of my friends and family. Thanks again, just wish we could have stayed longer

“Garden level 3 bedroom perfect for six adults, ten minutes to Old Town with 7 turtles.”

House built in 1890 has updated kitchen and 2 bathrooms, air conditioned everywhere but the kitchen, free wifi, three bedrooms that can have two twins or one king in each, TV, interesting old style furniture pieces and complete access to a lovely garden in which seven turtles live. There is an outside laundry room with friendly lizard and a place to dry your wet laundry in the yard. Ivana manages the house, answers all questions, gives direcions and arranges transport. She's friendly and very helpful. The front, upper-level of the house faces a busy street and has a bakery, mini-mart, coffiee cafe and bank in one direction and in the other direction is a ten minute walk to the cable car launch which will lift you far above Dubrovnik for a great panoramic view. It is only a ten minute walk down to the main entrance to Old Town and the Fort. Apartment Klavir, on the lowest level of three floors, is quiet and peaceful which seemed a great advantage over a more noisy location inside the City Wall. I would definitely stay there again if I have a chance to be in the beautiful city of Dubrovnik.

“Perfect for a city break”

This apartment is ideally placed above the old town - a five minute walk to the centre of town (150 steps or so) yet far enough away to have a good night's sleep without too much noise. The house, split into three separate apartments, is well equipped and has thoroughly modern bathrooms and kitchen, as well as air conditioning and WiFi in all the rooms, yet retains its traditional decor, such is the measure of the refurbishment. The owner is helpful and does everything to make your stay comfortable, as well as giving advice to make your visits around the area better. The two house keepers, Dominik and Ivana, contribute to your stay by doing the laundry and on one night made a barbecue - I recommend you enquire about this early on so that they can make arrangements. The house has a private garden and terrace to enjoy meals on, as well as a garage if you drive to Dubrovnik.
Highly recommend staying in Klavir!

“This house is a great place to stay!”

This was our third apartment rental in Croatia. after staying in Split and Hvar-- so we have a bit of experience now in evaluating Croatian rentals. This was by far the best. The house was renovated just a year ago and is in great shape with new air conditioning in all major rooms, good quality furnishings, comfortable beds as well as charming decor. There is a beautiful private English garden for sitting and dining. The house is 150 steps above the old city, about a five minute walk. There is also private parking if you drive there. The two house managers, Dominik and Ivana are marvelous. Ivana volunteered to do our laundry and Dominik carried our bags in... and one night made a barbeque for the whole family. They may not always do all those things but they certainly will make you feel welcome. The house is also well supplied with necessaries for the bathroom and kitchen. We highly recommend staying at Klavir.
