Myself and my girlfriend spent a week in the top floor room. We had a very friendly welcome, where we were shown around, also helped about with some basic Croatian to help us out through our stay.
Waking up in the morning was amazing, a comfy bed, followed up by an amazing view over the bay down into the old city and across to the island of Lokrum. Definitely a good way to start the day. In the main shared part of the house is a nice size kitchen if you don't feel like eating out - we didn't use it much as the food in Dubrovnik was really good. We did however, use the shared balcony. It provided a nice place to relax in the sun, watching the bay.
We found that going around the 1st week of June was the best, not many cruise ships call at that time and the number of tourists are not high. This means that the Old City is nicely busy, but you can get a table wherever you want to eat, see the sights without being over crowded, but there is still lots going on. I would highly recommend a visit to the island of Lokrum. We spent all day there, looking around and relaxing on the rocks at the island edge.
I would definitely stay there again - Dubrovnik is worth a second visit.
