“Lovely!”

The apartment is in the perfect location. Close to the main street but nice and quiet at night. Roberto was so kind and welcoming. Wonderful stay!

“Great Value”
Reviewed 13 September 2016 for a stay in September 2016

We found this to be great value accommodation in an excellent location in Dubrovnik's beautiful old town. The room is basic but very clean and comes with a private bathroom. The owner is very nice and we found him to be extremely helpful when we needed help to call a car rental company. There are very steep steps leading up to the property so this could potentially be an issue for people who struggle physically. However, this is true of a lot of the properties in the old town.

“The perfect base for a wonderful holiday”

What can I say that hasn't already been said? This is just the loveliest little apartment which makes a convenient base for exploring the beautiful old city. Although there is so much to see and do close by, it is just the right distance from the main street to be quiet and peaceful. We found everything we needed - lots of storage space, good bathroom facilities, nice little kitchen/dining area, very comfortable bed and good wi-fi. Best of all are the hosts: Roberto and his parents made us feel so welcome without being intrusive and we are so glad we chose to stay here rather than in a hotel. I would have very happily stayed another week and would recommend Studio Ana to anyone!

“Magical City”

Dubrovnik should be on everyone's itinerary who enjoys exploring Europe. It is magical. The cruise ships are there almost daily but to stay in the old town is such a treat. We were very pleased with our stay at Studio Ana 1. What made the trip especially nice was Roberto and his parents Petr and Ana. The family is so welcoming. We asked for transportation to and from the airport and it was provided. There is a cost but it is less than a taxi and its great knowing someone is there to greet you and to take your right to your apartment.

Upon arrival there was some cold juice and cookies -- very nice introduction. There were pamphlets/books on the city to help us. We stayed for a week and the towels were exchanged and room cleaned -- many thanks. Also, Ana gave us some homemade strudel - that made our day!

The reviews are correct in warning of the many steps. After several days of being there we figured out some short cuts, but do understand there are many steps. The room has air
conditioning which was much appreciated on the hot days. There is a small kitchenette and en suite bathroom. The room is small but very adequate. We had all we needed in space and amenities for a week's stay. It is a special treat to stay in an apartment which must be at least 400-500 years old.

The city is great for strolling, especially in the evening. There is some form of entertainment almost on every corner. We had an outstanding dinner experience nearby our apartment in a former palace on the rooftop overlooking the entire city as the sun set. It rates as one of the best dinner locations we've had anywhere in the world.

Excursions to Mostar and Montenegro were excellent experiences. We enjoyed the beach on several days. Don't expect sand, but do expect clear, refreshing water.

“Excellent apartment and owner who really made stay memorable”
Reviewed 6 June 2016 for a stay in May 2016

Small but well equipped and very clean, apartment. Robert and his father made us extremely welcome and comfortable. A few evenings spent trying home made liqueurs. Pretty much in the centre of the old town. Would definitely book again. Would be slightly difficult for a person with limited mobility, if coming from the middle of the old town. Over a hundred steps. One tip. If you can access the other gate, near the cable car, it is only a few steps down to the apartment
