My partner and I love sushi so when we saw this rated so highly we decided to give this a try! So glad we did! Wine recommendation was great and their wine glasses were really special - a nice touch!
We had spicy tuna maki, mango maki, tuna bota sashimi, amberjack sashimi and agymaki - this was a new one on us where the maki had been tempurared and was incredible!

It’s definitely not a cheap night however and with sushi you usually need a lot before you feel satisfied so be prepared to pay - we spent 120 for 2 people with a bottle of sparkling wine. But if you love sushi then I’d absolutely give this a try!

We visited this restaurant on Sunday 5th August.

This was a very special date for me and partner as we celebrated our engagement - Jon proposed to me just before we went to the Oyster and Sushi Bar, having made reservations for 7pm.

We had mentioned this to the waiter - whom was called Domash (I believe - definately something onlong these lines, he gave it us on a piece of paper, but unfortunately i lost it but slightly remember what he wrote on the note).
He gave us exceptional service - providing us with celebratory drinks, and ensured we were served with excellent service and made us feel extremely special. He was just outstanding, and i cannot thank him enough for providing us with such good service on our special occassion.

The food at the restuarant was just amazing! It's not very often we eat sushi - and it totally made us love it even more. The food tasted fantastic, and it was served perfectly - looked delicious and was presented with perfection.

If you love sushi, you would absolutely LOVE this place! I would highly recommend this for great tasting food and exceptional service - and it's situated in a very romantic place, dark and lit just perfectly with dim lighting. Definately give it a visit.

I would like to thank Domash for making our visit more than we ever expected. He was the perfect waiter, and such a gentleman. To add to this, he was quick whitted and made us laugh with his jokes and lovely personality.
In the case I have his name incorrect, we also took a picture with him to mark such a great experiece, and special occassion.

Thank you, for making us feel so special and making our memories even more fantastic.

xxx

We had a wonderful meal- Bota serves some of the finest fresh fish in Dubrovnik and their oysters are legendary. I consider myself an oyster lover and the fresh oysters we had at Bota were excellent but the oysters we had at their location in Mali- Ston the next day were truly spectacular- the finest I have ever tasted.
The owner had apparently landed a big tuna the day prior to our visit and sent toro to all his locations. It was comparable to the toro I have had in Japan.

Overall excellent meal - highly recommended.

Stopped by for a quick lunch while exploring dubrovnik old town. Very pleased as they catered to my vegan diet as well as my family who aren’t vegan. We were all very happy with the food. Also our waitress Mateja was absolutely wonderful and made our stop a million times better!
