Asked Google for a hotel with indoor pool in February in Split area. Fanat was one of the hits with nice pool photo that our 6-yrs son liked. So i booked - directly via mail, immediate response, best first impression ever. Got here with no special expectations (photos easily show way more than you get). Arrived, saw the building - wow, butique/family hotel, this will be nice. At check in, like we'd know each other for ages-first impression done, we've been in love with it at that point already. Got to the room... Omg, that's an apartment-like "room", spacious, clean, convenient, lovely, all that you wished for your holidays but did not dare to expect.
Went for dinner, excellent welcome by a "waiter", he immediately got our son on his side by calling him "boss". Got perfect service and food, and unexpected attention. Did not know that great "waiter" is (one of?) the owner? But don't get me wrong, all the rest are at the same extremely polite attitude.
Next days, same service, same excellent experience, same attitude by all personnel, not a single minus to mention.
Long story short: being a guest in this hotel means you become part of their family - they treat you like your parents would treat you.

No doubts, next year we're here again, returning to our second family.

You must get here and experience something you don't get around the world (and i traveled all the world).
Book soon in advance, these guys are heavily booked - for a very good reason.

Arriving at the Fanat we were checked in by Katerina, this was swift with no hassles .Katerina then gave us a very thorough 'do's and dont's for in and around the area'. She is a terrific credit to the hotel . Our rooms overlooked the sea and were extremely well appointed with a modern luxurious design and feel.. They were very spacious in all aspects , drawers ,cupboards, bathroom etc.. We ate in the hotel restaurant in the evening simply because the menu options were good and the food was very tasty , which was the same for the breakfast. Service was first class with Ivan showing a lot of professionalism and wit! The spa was more than good enough to relax in after a days sightseeing The location is good, over the road from the beach and a 10 minute bus journey into Split . Definitely recommend this hotel if you are visiting Split.

Room tip: Choose sea view rooms

We swapped to the Fanat after our original choice of hotel had been dropped by BA. We had a spacious room with a balcony overlooking the beach and the staff, amenities and food were all excellent. Breakfast was included and we also ate in the hotel one night on their very pleasant terrace with views out towards the water. The only negative was the fact that the hotel is a bit of a walk from the old town. It took us around 45 minutes to walk there, albeit it is a very picturesque walk along the waterfront, although we did not attempt the walk at night. My tip would be to use an Uber as they were significantly cheaper than the local taxis and seemed to be licensed as they all had taxi badges anyway.

Room tip: would definitely recommend the rooms at the front with the water views

We stayed here at the Hotel Fanat Oct 2019 for 3 nights with friends.
About 30 minutes from the airport.

CHECK IN was a breeze although our rooms not ready but we were a bit early. But left our luggage at the reception and had a drink on the terrace and not long before we all got our rooms.

ACCOMODATION was very good,Clean and Balcony facing the sea.Two single beds can be joined.Very comfortable bed and nice pillows.Lovely big batthroom with shower facility in the bath.

WIFI complimentary was avaible throughout the hotel and pretty strong signal with no drop outs at all.

BREAKFAST was pretty average but adequet. but food at times was getting less and less as it was coming to the 10 oclock mark.

Dinner ...we had all 3 night dinner at this hotel and food was excellent.Staff second to none especially Ivan a credit to the hotel.ut not forgeting other wating staff they were very good and attentive at all times.Full marks.
Swimming Pool INDOORS was there and was good but the showering are a bit conjusted and small.
Beach was just opposite the hotel across a wide mud road.Few minutes and your in the sea.
Split is about 10 minutes buy taxi. One can have a lovely walk on the sea front path all the way to Split if one wants to walk is about 1hour leisurely walk.
We found that it was a bit too far rom Split ,we would have liked to be a bot nearer.

We stayed for 3 nights here on a trip to Croatia. Overall we had a lovely stay. The staff were friendly and helpful. The rooms were clean and big. The location is perfect, it's across from the beach and about a 10 minute uber (which only cost about €5) into the city. The breakfast is a bit limited but there's something for everyone.
I would definitely recommend.
