We stayed here as a family of 3. The pool was a nice draw for my daughter and the grounds and rooms were beautiful. It is not the cheapest place in Antigua but we enjoyed the safely and amenities. Breakfast was quite good.

Beautiful hotel in between a Volcanic valley. If you visit Guatemala, definitely worth a visit even just for an afternoon walk and use of the restaurant. One of the most exotic and well built hotels i have visited in my travels

We stayed at the hotel for two nights, and my mother couldn't stop commenting on how beautiful everything was - the rooms, walkways, common areas, and museums. The staff were friendly and responsive, and concerned about making sure that we had everything we needed. It is a few blocks farther away from shops and restaurants than other hotels are, but it's more accessible to the main road - the parking garage is right by the entrance to Antigua, which minimizes the amount of driving you have to do over uncomfortable cobblestones.

My review will be long and true, because before i went on this trip i read all thousand reviews on Tripadvisor, and some were true and some not in my experience. First i reserved and gave my card info just to reserve, beware they will charge your room ahead of time and hold it until check in, my room payment pended 2 weeks before and i was unaware since it said my card will be JUST to reserve. Check in was at 3pm my room was not ready til 330 and i was tired from the trip. Mean while at check in you need to have the card you reserved with and use a credit card for the deposit, deposit is in Dollars I paid $234 for a room and $134 for deposit. Once in our room, I feel in love it was not exacly like in the pictures but i was still amazed the best part Jacuzzi. Dimmed lights yes, felt relaxed. We were given room 209. 1 day in Antigua was not enough to explore this hotel or the city, we went for free in the museum it was a nice walk and took many pictures of the beautiful locations we asked for room service food was amazing they have a large selection of food like pizza sushi and guatemalan, the server came into the room and set the table for us with a table cloth very 5 stars. The next morning we tried the Breakfast Buffet for Q130 each and it was very good and my husband and i enjoyed it, many options like omelette station, pupusas, beans, breads, fruits, cheeses, platanitos, pancakes, bacon , hasbrowns ect. Now check out, check out is at 12pm everything went well til they said my deposit will be returned in 3-5 business days. After 3 days, no deposit I sent an email they said in 2 weeks. But it was fixable just called my bank and received it that same day i called which was 3 days after. So they do release your funds the same day you just need to call your bank. Over all, We Loved It, but will be getting a lower priced hotel next time for our preference. Amazing hotel Amazing staff Amazing rooms and Amazing views. The jacuzzi was the best part of all the trip!!!!! oh and our room had a chimney we did not use and also had a ash tray meaning you can smoke in rooms.
