Acitron used to be one of the best real Mexican (not Tex/Mex) offerings in the Boston area. Food has lost some of its flavor –not to mention a taste of blandness… Service is irregular and attendants should be reminded that they can smile without suffering any harm. Don't bother with reservations because when you get there on time, you will have to wait another 45 minutes.

Take your business elsewhere –there are other good, friendlier, and diverse options in the Arlington Center neighborhood. Also, reasonable prices and friendlier service. All of which make it possible to conduct your business lunch or dinner more successfully.

Seems odd how most of the best Mexican spots in Boston area are long gone.
My wife and tried this last night and wish we had known about it before!
The selections are varied and it was hard to decide which to pass up. The food was great. I had Verde a la Babs, my wife the fish tacos. Both were great. The pomegranate margarita was extremely good. Waitress was very friendly and helpful. Restaurant has a nice vibe. Very fast service. Will definitely be back even though it is not close.
Thanks.

If you're looking for authentic Mexican cuisine, this is the place to go! The food is delicious! The margarita's were excellent! Everything from appetizers to dessert to their customer service was on point! This was my 2nd time here and my husband's 1st! Needless to say I'm sure we will be back! If you're in the mood for Mexican food I would definitely give this place a try! It was a bonus that could make reservations too so no waiting to be seated!!!

This is a lovely spot with entrees and apps that give the diner a chance to escape the taco-burrito-fajita trap.Although they do have some standard fare, the choices are much more varied. Service is impeccable, seating comfortable and not too noisy, though for dinner, the earlier the better. Portions are reasonable but without the massive quantities usually encountered. Rice and beans are $3.00 a la carte on some choices. Try "Taco Tuesday", for $3 tacos!

I love this place. The people. The service. The food. We eat here regularly on a Sunday evening, and all of the above are consistently amazing. Queso fundido is blindingly good. Margarita Cadillac knocks it out of the park on taste. The Elote (corn) is a must. A big thank you to the team who run this place.
