We have loved this place for years. With it's made to order wood fired pizza ( at reasonable prices, finally for Panama ) and breezy views, it's become a destination of it's own. You can park behind or in the larger center across the way and enjoy great service too! View of the city and view of the marina means cross breezes. Have a nice walk on the causeway or after the BioMuseo, pop in for family friendly pizza.

After a nice boat/bus (Aqua-bus) tour in the morning we were ready go lunch. Going through the he ritual of, "where do you want to go?", we smelled delicious pizza baking. We looked over to see the wood burning. That settled it. We looked over th menu, we're happy with everything, and were seated at a table overlooking the water. 1st course: beer and fried yuka. 2nd course was a prosciutto and mushroom (fresh mushrooms!) pizza.

Decent views, and then things fall apart from there. The waitress was annoyed by us, we did not get a smile or greeting. They weren't full so I didn't understand the cold greeting. I'm starting to get the impression Panamanians don't like gringos. She only brought our drinks after another couple sat near us, ordered and she served them, then noticed we didn't have drinks. We were an after thought. The pizza was average; thin crust very crispy on the edge and undercooked in the middle with flavorless sauce. When we were in line to pay, the other waiter who had not served us, told us to tip well, that the 10% tip on the receipt is only the base to start from. Why didn't he tell this to the three parties ahead of us when they paid. Why would I tip more when they made me feel like I was troubling them? Maybe they were just understaffed.

This is a nice place to get away from formal dining. The restaurant is open and very relax. The views of Panama city and the ocean are part of the show. The wood oven pizza options are "Very Good." The personal attention by the Owners is also unique. This is a gathering place for people sailing through Panama since their sailboats are in the area.
