Good family run backpacker hostel. Dorm was $10 a person with a breakfast/coffee included. Private rooms $25. Rooms, commons area, and kitchen are very clean. Kitchen is large with everything needed to cook your own food, and a fridge and freezer to store food. There is a La Colonia super market very close by (5 min walk) in the metro centro, which is convenient. Dorms have individual lockers and multiple fans. Showers were a bit weak for the dorms, but strong in the private rooms. The manager, Ilisabeth, woke up early, before 4am, just to make us coffee and walk us to the street to pick up a taxi. Super helpful. This is a nice place to stay if you have to stay in Managua at any point in your trip.

When we came to Managua we just wanted to stay for one or two nights but in the end we stayed for almost one week. We felt so comfortable and the staff was very nice! They helped us with everything and we felt so welcome in their local family. The rooms and bathrooms are clean and you can choose between a dorm or a private room. It's a 5 minute walk to metrocentro mall, which is the most central place, since there is no real city center.
The hostel is very new so you should definitely give it a chance and by that meet their cute puppy Limho!

This hostel has changed locations as of February 2017!

The staff were completely discourteous about the change in address (.5 miles from the old location) and the resulting change in rooms booked. Bathrooms didn't have shower curtains, no hot water, and only a drip came out of one of the showers. Also, no towels provided.

Children were often running around the common areas of the hostel at early hours creating lots of noise, and a TV was running all day long.

The breakfast was adequate - coffee, an egg, gallo pinto, and bread.

The hostel helped us book transportation to/from the airport, but it was well overpriced.

Stayed just one night here. Great location near la uca and metro centro.
However the bathrooms and kitchen were very unclean. Hair all throughout the bathrooms. Rooms were okay but no fly screen on windows so some bugs in the night.
Breakfast was great but ran out of coffee. Outdoor area has a lot of potential. It seems like this hostel is new - that's fine - but lower your prices until renovations are complete. Lower price for better quality at other hostels near by.

I stayed at Lost Inn while getting settled in Managua. The dorm prices are very reasonable, the rooms are clean, and the breakfast is free and tasty. The center of the hostel has a beautiful open roof and you can relax under a giant mango tree in the back patio.

Location is great -- there is a chocolate factory across the street, bakery a door down, and both a Peruvian and Nicaraguan restaurant within half a block. Great salsa club down the street and zona hippos (nightlife) is about four blocks away.

Would definitely stay here again!

Room Tip: The restaurant out back sells water bottles for $0.60.
