Having traveled for several months as a vegan in Nicaragua, this restaurant is a bit of an oasis in this meat-centric country. I was getting a tad tired of gallo pinto and boiled vegetables and Ananda offered a good variety of vegan dishes. I had various types of veggies with brown rice as well as their tortas. It was nice to have tofu and soy "meat" as alternative sources of protein to the typical beans.
The restaurant is located somewhat in the middle of nowhere but it's easy to get to by cab. It offers wifi and a pretty garden and open air dining area making it a perfect spot to linger for breakfast/lunch or a smoothie.
