Hector Jimenez-Bravo has done it again bringing his culinary magic to another great restaurant Kyiv. The attention to details shows, as well as Hector's desire for perfection in the training of his staff, the look of the restaurant and, of course, the delicious tastes.
The cuisine is Vietnamese with a great selection of cocktails that will never cease to amaze you. Over several visits, I tried much of the menu (and many of the drinks). I enjoyed every dish and the intricacies of the tastes and subtleties of the flavors.
The interior reminds you of a French/Vietnamese villa with the mural artwork on the walls being intriguing and complex in many ways. (It was interesting trying to decipher the interesting touches of each.)
One drink you must try has a golden encrusted wafer in it, when you tap the wafer gold dust flows into the air. The drink is both tasty and fascinating. That drink is but a small example of Hector's little touches.
At the end of the evening, it was great to sit in the bar on the first floor. It has a unique seating area where you can feel like Lac Long Quan or Au Co looking over your kingdom.
Enjoy yourself, enjoy the professionalism and intricacies of the concept and design but most of all enjoy the phenomenal food and experience that Hector and his staff create.
