The young lady working here was extremely courteous. However, I would rate the property as ragged. This was fine as I was a solo traveler who has prior military experience. I have stayed in much worse. This reminded me of a hostel stay. The hotel property is definitely worth a look. Rick Steves' described it as an interior that would make Liberace jealous. Stay here if nothing else is available - but do not expect much more than a modest hotel stay.

Room Tip: Go to the Hotel Croatia a few blocks up the street.

We stayed here as the last place of 4 hotels we were in for croatia tour. The mngr is the worst. He yells a lot amd does not like americans. The room smelled. And has no restaurant or coffee shop. The location is good but you basically just get a room. I had to find the wifi sign in myself as the mngr is so ignorant he would not say so.i would avoid it. Lots of other places.

I see that other people concur, so I won't go into too many details. Pretentious, very kitschy look. Bare bones breakfast. Unreliable service. Heard the owner shouting curses to his employees. Not too clean. All in all, my stay wasn't horrible but do yourself a favor, pay a few euros more and enjoy your stay somewhere else.

this hotel was my only option for staying in the centre of the city begining of december (zagreb is becoming a big deal in december, so difficuld to find a last minute stay) so i havent made any research before.
i started looking at reviews after meetng the guy that here the majority of people are saying not so nice things. honestly, i also had the impression that he is not fit for the job he is doing - but i looked at him as just a guy with a sence of humour sooooo different of mine..
if you want the be pampered - this hotel when this guy is working is not for you. but the girl and the doorkeeper are really pleasent people!
the room could have been cleaner but i was pleasently surprised how Quiet the room was considering the location (centre).
one more great thing is that you can park your car in front of the hotel but still it is not on the busy street. it means a lot when you know your car is safe. breakfast was really good - sweet and salted options and good coffe
if this hotel would be cleaner and renovated you would go back in time 20, 30 years. i suppose this was the golden period of this hotel
so, dont expect a lot, but with a price that good - who would? ;)

Worst hotel ever, very very dirty, staf rude and unpolite beyond imagination, horor story. We were unable to use shower due to cleanless(will spare you the details).

Price moderate, parking ok, 1km from main city square.

Please see my pictures attached.
