Description: "Restaurant AGAVA" - a place where fine dining truly meets a casual atmosfere. This is very special place, a bit hidden, a bit shy...A classic Italian restaurant filled with subtle dark colours and distinctive lightning. Wide windows provide an unique view, and in spring and summer the green terrace will attract you immediately. The restaurant was opened in 2005. It is runned by Belizar Milos (owner/partner) who is also the main chef, responsible for many mediterranean delices and beyond. So, come to the number 39 of Tklaciceva street... It'll take you 39 staircases to come to your little hiding place.

Agava restaurant has ambitions. I wish them to fulfill them although it is by no means guaranteed. There is one brilliant standout though! It is their "three stars" sea urchin and porcini mushroom risotto. On my last visit it was fabulous, well executed rice cooked most likely in a light mushroom broth, laced with perfect sea urchin roe and succulent thick porcini slices. One of the best dishes I had in my home country. There was a good choice of vines by glass to accompany our lunch. Congrats, I'll be back and I hope you get more ambitious and more relaxed in the future.

Excellent service, but kitchen should be more flexible with more available options; the offer of beers is pretty short...

Our waiter was amazing. Patient, flexible, informative. The traditional stewed beef dish was quite delicious. My salmon fine. The dessert - chocolate with almonds or almond flour was outstanding. Dense but light. One of our best desserts ever.

In city center in heart of Zagreb very nice and small restaurant, with nice view

Stuff is very nice politely and they know lots of about food they are offering...

I eat a phenomenal steak, dry aged with raspberry, cooked chestnut....

Wife eat some chicken breastfeeding with some vegetables also excellent

Prices are little bit higher than average but they can measured with much better and more expensive restaurants (like ManO)
