Great hotel. Friendly staff, clean rooms, free breakfast. Dinner is order out, Fried Squid was on point! Most hotels were closed and I was lucky to find this gem. Awesome stay. I recommend this hotel to all.

We stayed overnight in Zagreb to catch a flight the next morning to the US. The only catch was the crazy expensive cab fare of close to $50 from the airport to the hotel. They do have Uber which we should have done for a bit less. Luckily the hotel will take you to the airport for considerably less - about $15 - sign up at the front desk. The rooms are basic. Our room had two very small twin beds reminiscent of Paris size beds but the room was a decent size as was the bathroom (small shower but good pressure). Breakfast buffet at 7 but we left too early to assess. Staff very pleasant. Closer to the airport than downtown Zagreb. Interestingly a 15 minute drive here but much quicker back to the airport. Not sure why but we checked the cabs route and it was the most direct. Overall good for an overnight.
We chose this hotel as we have stayed here before previous year. Great hotel and great location near the airport. 10 min drive. Downtown zagreb is only 15 minutes away with the car in case you want to go sightseeing .
The clerks at the desk were extremely helpful and accommodating. Wonderful European breakfast. Very nice room with a comfortable bed and nice washroom. I was not a fan of the "all in one" squeeze soap they had in the washroom sink and shower- I prefer a fresh soap as I find this more sanitary. This was my only critique.
Easy to find next to high ways. Quiet place good breakfast. There is refrigerator in room but no minibar because anything you want is at reception. Not sow way to go in downtown but there are taxis if you need.
We stayed one night at the Stella prior to an early departure. The hotel is convenient, the staff friendly and helpful, the hotel provides a shuttle service to the terminal. The one concern is that access to the hotel is a bit awkward due to recent road construction. It would help to have clearer signage, but we will definitely stay there again if future travel originates in ZAG.
