I had such a great time in this hotel. Hotel room was huge, spacious under the roof with great facilities. Furniture was nice and in old style which i like it. Hotel is connected with bar so you can have a coffee and have a great time talking to staff. I have had so much laugh and fun. Receptionist were very helpful, very knowledgeable and great to talk to. Breakfast was fine nothing like in 5 star hotel but was tasteful and they can cook for you fresh eggs which i love. So if you are looking for a hotel in great location with fun this is right spot for you.

Astra hotel is part Hotel Europe Group. It is in the centre of the old part of Sarajevo, everything walking distance. Our room was on the side of the hotel, big room with small sitting room. Across the street was a bar, but they close around midnight, so no problem for the noise, we could sleep with the windows open.
Breakfast was very good, staff very friendly and free wifi in the hotel.
Money can be exchanged in their sister hotel Europe hotel, 5 minutes walk away from the Astra hotel.

Great spot and close to everything. Would stay there again. Stayed 5 nights for business. Good range for breakfast including some hot sausages, and standard fruit, cold meat, bread selection. All staff really really friendly and helpful. Wifi worked fine for internet and skype. Also plenty of choices for bars across the road. Pick up from the airport to the hotel was around 15 euro one way. Had an early flight out from Sarajevo at 630 AM and had a shuttle at 5am and arrived at airport at 5.20AM. Plenty of time to catch flight. Only downside was room was a bit hot during night.

It's the perfect hotel for business, staff is fantastic, breakfast is great, good wifi connection, perfect location in the very city center and it's possibile to use all facilities of the near by Hotel Europa (like the car parking). Unfortunately, the windows in the cafe are still marked by bullet holes from last month shooting! Unacceptable for such a good hotel, and quite scaring too!

This hotel is in an excellent location. Baščaršija (the old bazaar), the shops, the river and other important buildings are all within walking distance. Hotel receptionists were extremely nice and helpful. Both room and breakfast room were quite small and stuffy. Unfortunately smoking is allowed in the lobby.
