The hostel is a rarity in that the fixtures, fittings and facilities are of real quality which makes for a comfortable and homely stay. Every inch of the of the hostel was seemingly cleaned daily. The dorms are spacious with lockers and beds have sidelights and plug sockets. The showers have great pressure and hot plenty of hot water. The staff interact with guests and take time to tell you about what you can do during the day and evening. One night during my stay (of 3 nights) they cooked for the guests. a few small supermarkets are next door or on the same street and one is 24 hour I believe.

The hostel is a 15 -20 min walk up a hill from the centre old town for which you are rewarded with great views and a hostel that I found to have interesting people who liked to go out and explore during the day and sample bars etc during the evening. But also to cook and socialise in the hostel too. Well done Kucha for running a great hostel.

Suggestions for Hostel. Keep doing what you are doing! Maybe consider curtains for each bed in the dorms which would offer extra privacy and some air fresher for the shoe area at the entrance. The wifi was generally good but struggled occasionally when lots of guests were connected so maybe look into strengthening it.

I will definitely return when next in Sarajevo

The owner will take care of you in all aspects, wonderful person. The house is as clean as they come, 10/10, there's floor heating for winter time, AC for summer. Tons of space around the house, many bathrooms. Great place to stay and explore Sarajevo, highly recommended. Make sure you ask Šejla (the boss xD) about her cooking class - Bosnian food is arguably the best on the Balkans, and Sarajevo is a Mecca for that.

Very well located cute and very clean hostel in Sarajevo. They have homemade breakfasts and treat you like family! The two ladies working here are so kind and can tell you anything about the city. I was really impressed with my stay!! I met a lot of cool travelers and was able to see everything interesting in the city. I will come back someday!

Room Tip: 6 bedroom dorms are cheap and quite big

I was really impressed with my stay at Hostel Kucha. Not only was it neat and tidy, but was in a great location that made our stay at Sarajevo so much more enjoyable. The host was friendly and informative and extremely helpful. The place was so clean and new that we didn’t even feel like we were staying in a hostel. We loved hanging out in our rooms ! Would definitely recommend it.
