The Cannibal Cave tour is just brilliant. This company is owned by the Fijian people. On the bus trip to the village the history of Fiji is told by the tour guides and is wonderfully presented. The Kava ceremony is very traditional and without all the tourist frills. Morning tea was a very tasty potato wrap. The billi billi ride was great fun and the walk through the farm land very interesting as you were told lots of interesting facts along the way. The cave itself was great and also very interesting. We had lunch (yummy) sitting on the billi billi on the river in the shade on a very hot day. The fresh fruit at the end of the tour was delicious. Don't expect a flash bus or lots of trimming. What we got was a wonderful day of seeing the real Fiji, meeting the real people and experiencing a little of their history. The guides on this trip were absolutely fantastic and we just laughed so much during the day. Highly recommend this tour to everyone. Wear comfortable clothes and shoes that can get wet - getting into the cave is through a knee-thigh high water way.
