The Cannibal Cave tour is just brilliant. This company is owned by the Fijian people. On the bus trip to the village the history of Fiji is told by the tour guides and is wonderfully presented. The Kava ceremony is very traditional and without all the tourist frills. Morning tea was a very tasty potato wrap. The billi billi ride was great fun and the walk through the farm land very interesting as you were told lots of interesting facts along the way. The cave itself was great and also very interesting. We had lunch (yummy) sitting on the billi billi on the river in the shade on a very hot day. The fresh fruit at the end of the tour was delicious. Don't expect a flash bus or lots of trimming. What we got was a wonderful day of seeing the real Fiji, meeting the real people and experiencing a little of their history. The guides on this trip were absolutely fantastic and we just laughed so much during the day. Highly recommend this tour to everyone. Wear comfortable clothes and shoes that can get wet - getting into the cave is through a knee-thigh high water way.

Knowledgeable guides, very well planned out trip, all made for an awesome day!

The billi billi (bamboo raft) was the best part! Dont' forget to bring your swimmers so you can jump into the river and help push! (or just float along) Guides were knowledgable and articulate, it was fascinating to learn about village life, adn the different plants used for medicine etc. The cave was amazing, slightly creepy but really cool.

Very family friendly, the guides are great with kids and will happily carry them along on their shoulders (if the child is willing), but we were 4 girls and we still thoroughly enjoyed it!

Lunch was neatly packed in foam containers, one per person, and fresh fruit served at the end of the day. Such a great tour, I highly recommend it to everyone!

My kids (11 and 13) went on the Waterfall tour in July 2009 and had a wonderful time. We gained a unique insight into the Fijian culture - meeting villagers, participating in a kava ceremony, learning about the flora and fauna, and of course seeing the waterfall. The trek to the waterfall was interesting as we learnt about the traditional Fijian uses of the various plants. There was plenty to see and I took some great photos. The kids loved swimming at the waterfall and enjoyed the guides showing off with their dives and jumps from the rocks. A very worthwhile experience.

We went on the Waterfall tour and on our 2nd trip to Fiji on the Cave tour. Both were excellent in terms of the staff's approach, knowledge and professionalism. The staff were a joy to be with and made both days absolutely awesome. I should note on the waterfall tour we were accompanied by by partner's cousin and their 3 year old and 18 month old. They had a ball too. My advice is book at least one tour through these guys. Expect a genuine down to earth experience and you will be delighted.
