I understand this is a Thai/ Kiwi partnership. Food is really different & impressive. Deserts are incredible, service good. Its very basic when you pull up for the first time.Taxi $25 Fiji from Denarau & they will come back for you . Basic wine list, but BYO welcome

Our first visit was with a large group. The menu choices are widely varied, and all portion sizes were large. And all were reported to be delicious! Personally I ordered the grilled loko fish in a coconut cream sauce, and it was amazing. Staff were friendly and service was ok, although not all that speedy. But then the size of our group may have impacted that.

The outside is ordainary, but the food is anything but. Local dishes are available and beautifully prepared. The Kokoda was very tasty. Portions are generous or huge, so easy on the starters and smoothies served on a glass that could double as a modest fish bowl.

The soup, made with fish broth combined with chicken or fish, comes at three levels of spiciness. Believe it that spicy is spicy and delicious.

I had no room for dessert, but it was available. Prices are modest.

Do eat here.

We were taken her by a couple we met at our resort who are frequent visitors to Fiji. It pays to know the "locals!" The taxi from Denarau cost $25 there and $20 back. BUT worth every penny. The place is nothing flash but its clean and the staff are friendly and hospitable. They are licensed & BYO . From memory, it cost around F$107 for the 4 of us - more than enough tasty food - and then some. We had the kokoda (raw fish) which I think was part of the tasting plate, the Fiji tasting plate, one of the noodle dishes and some crispy fried fish - all delicious. But do eat the crispy fish first while it is still crispy. It really is a hidden gem.
