We stayed there for one night waiting for a boat to Yasawas (they have free pick up to the harbour). We had our booking made by local travel agency and it seems that we overpaid - it cost us nearly 200 F$ without breakfast. The quality was not worth that money. The room was wide but it should had been modernized (to be honest, the whole hotel deserves it) and cleaned (the courtain was not laundered for some time). Nice swimming pool in the centre with direct access from some of the rooms (we had such room). Breakfast was nice but expensive.

You may spend there one night but never go there for a holiday (BTW, the coast is quite distant).

We checked in Jan 2012 and booked connecting room. The location of the hotel is very good which makes it convenient for everything. The room was clean with the relevent facilities. There was ac as well. The first time we stayed we booked 2rooms and the second time we had connecting room facing the pool area which we all liked very much. Sitting with a drink in the deck feels so nice. We loved it.
Overall it was a good stay with friendly staff. A shuttle was also availbale on site and as schedule we left early morning for our flight back home.

Stayed here late Jan 2012 in 2 rooms for 2 nights after returning from Coral Coast. Check in was slow - we waited about 40 minutes for our room to be prepared as the hotel had been swamped by a delayed flight to LAX. There was no where to sit in the lobby as a large amount of travellers were waiting for airport transfers.
Rooms are basic and because there had been such a demand in the hotel the night before the rooms were not cleaned thoroughly (floors were dirty and gritty), toiletries and tea/coffe supplies were limited and there were no towels available.
No hot water in the showers as previously noted, and despite assurances that this would be fixed, it remained the same for the duration of our stay.
As a previous reviewer noted, the airport transfer was oddly timed - 6am for a 9am flight! Luckily, the transfer driver was very friendly and offered to drive us at a time of our convenience.
Location wise, this hotel is not close to Nadi Town or Denarau - about a 5-15 minute drive. But, close to the hotel are a number of restaurants, cafes, bakeries, chemist, doctors surgery, supermarket all within walking distance.
We did not eat at the hotel, but ordered from nearby Pizza King & Wishbone Chicken which was good.
The pool was OK - adequate but not spectacular. A little grimy, but still a nice cooling dip.
The grounds are nicely maintained and there were even hammocks and day beds for lounging around.
Air con in the rooms was an issue - ours was too cold and our children's was too warm - no individual adjustments.
And although there are TV's, there is limited reception so don't get your hopes up on catching up on the lastest current affairs or your favourite programs! Nickelodian was about all we could get.
Rosies tour desk in the lobby was helpful and efficient.
Check out and porter services were efficient.
Reasonable value for money - just a little sloppy round the edges even when you account for Fiji standards.

Room Tip: No lift so ify ou have trouble wait stairs ask for a ground floor room.

Had to stay here overnight with my partner as our flight was overbooked and its where the airline paid for us to go. The room was dark and dingey and the shower was dirty.There was no hot water either. 2 small towells were given to us which were both very thin!

That night we had dinner in the restaurant, the meals were tasteless and better yet I became horribly sick afterwards!! Lets just say trips to the toilet were plenty and not much sleep was had. I could not eat a thing during the next day and felt extremely nauseas and weak. (vomiting on the plane was an experience too!) There was a stray cat which roamed the restaurant which i didnt really mind but I did see a mouse running around the baracades of the roof. Who knows where it had been leaving its droppings??

As we missed out on our flight the previous day we wanted to get to the airport extra early so we didnt miss out again. Our transfer was 1/2 an hour LATE and turned up just as we were ordering a taxi. This caused us to almost miss our flight again!! (It is not fun running around an airport feeling like your about to be sick)

overall, the dingey room, the horrible food, the food poisoning and the rodents scurrying around the restaurant this was probably the worst place ive ever stayed and i've travelled all over the world! Would NOT suggest this place to anyone!
